Prospect's Walk-Off HR Debut 😱

1986 World Series Game 6

Professor BushOct 25, 2011

25 years ago, Mookie Wilson, Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden of the New York Mets came back to win the 1986 World Series in dramatic fashion. With two outs in the last inning of Game 6, it looked like the Boston Red Sox had won the Series. However, the Red Sox failed to get that last out, and the results are history.

Bob Murphy's call of the game has become a baseball classic. To all Mets fans: remember and enjoy. At the rate the team is going, it might be some time before we get to see something like this again.
