NFL Power Rankings: San Diego Chargers and Teams Ready to Send a Message
Week 7 of the 2011 NFL Season is already upon us, and there are teams lower on the power rankings that are angry about their position and would like to send a message to the NFL.
The Hatorade is flowing like the mighty Mississippi River, and the following teams are good enough to win their matchups in convincing fashion.
These victories will be direct messages at the rest of the teams in their divisions and conferences, and there will be no mistaking where these teams belong on the power rankings next week.

San Diego Chargers—The San Diego Chargers are facing the toughest test of the season, and it’s not just because of the matchup against AFC conference rival New York Jets.
Rex Ryan of the Jets was caught running his mouth again to which Chargers head coach Norv Turner retorted, and the subsequent fallout has all eyes on the war on the West Coast.
If the Chargers can beat the offensively inept Jets in San Diego, not only will they climb the rankings, but they will gain the respect of the people who have questioned their team this season.
Carolina Panthers—The Carolina Panthers have one of the best offenses in the game, and if they could eve manage to maintain a consistent run game they would be a nightmare for defenses.
While every analyst and their brother are talking about how Andy Dalton has done much better than Cam Newton, just look on the defensive side of the ball to find out why the Panthers are more heavily prevalent in the win column.
The Washington Redskins have been one of the better teams this season, but they have hit a bad stretch and the fact that John Beck is the starting quarterback is the perfect chance to beat a solid team while they’re down.
Denver Broncos—The Tim Tebow era has begun in Denver, Colorado, and the fans of the Broncos couldn’t be more anxious for a meaningless game than they are this week.
If there was a team that was worse than the Denver Broncos it would be the Miami Dolphins, and this is the perfect opportunity to show the NFL that turning the keys over to Tebow was the right move.
While any team in the NFL can be dangerous, this is the perfect game to ease Tebow into the starting role, and the Dolphins will be staring down the barrel of another winless season if they don’t make a change soon.
