Donovan McNabb Benched: Vikings Should Have Never Trusted Washed Up QB
It may be time for former Philadelphia Eagles star, former Washington Redskins mistake and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb to take his curtain call.
It's been a great run for McNabb, but it's probably best to stop digging while he still has a chance to get out of the hole that is the latter stages of his career.
Really it's hard to put the blame on anybody else besides the Vikings though.

Coach Questions Beck's Personality 🤔
They are the ones who trusted him to be "the guy" while Christian Ponder waited patiently in the wings.
Unfortunately it was a bad call.
The Vikings finally figured that out though as they sent McNabb to the bench in favor of the rookie, during the fourth quarter of their beat down at the hands of the Chicago Bears.
Here's some reaction from the Twitter world regarding the switch.
Anybody who saw McNabb play in Washington knew that his career was over. Actually, he was starting to show the signs of regression near the end in Philadelphia.
He started getting injured more often and you could tell that he just didn't have the same zip on his passes or in the running game.
When he was traded to Washington many thought that all he needed was a change of scenery, but then he followed it up with arguably the worst year of his career, completing 275-of-472 for 3,377 yards 14 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
The 'Skins didn't even trust him enough to run the two minute offense.
Why the Vikings believed that yet another change of scenery would do McNabb any good baffles me, so really they are the ones to blame for this experiment gone wrong.
McNabb has had zero control of the offense, zero play-making ability, and has struggled to even look a shell of the shell of his former self.
In five games this season hes completed 75-of-132 for 849 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
Nothing official has come out and I doubt anything will for a couple days, but it looks like the Vikings may be ready to move on from the McNabb era.
It was a mess, but they should have never trusted him in the first place.
