Vincent Jackson Injury: Should Fantasy Owners Start or Sit Chargers WR?
There are two things to know about San Diego wide receiver Vincent Jackson going into this week.
The first is that he is recovering from a hamstring injury, but heโs expected to play at least as much as last week, when he was on the field for 22 snaps.
The second is that 22 plays are enough for Jackson to do plenty of damage. Fantasy players who have the option have to activate Jackson for todayโs game against Denver.

The Dolphins saw last week what even a limited Jackson could do. He finished with three catches for 108 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown catch that was a thing to behold.
Jackson beat the defense easily, then, overthrown by quarterback Philip Rivers, he floated his body through the air to make a fingertip catch before flopping on the ground. And, as he hadnโt been hit, he had enough presence of mind to bounce up and run in for the score.
Anyone who can do that has to be active even if heโs not going to be in for every offensive play.
The fact that the Broncosโ Champ Bailey is expected to be on coverage against Jackson all day will give some pause, but the fact is that Bailey is dealing with hamstring injuries of his own and hasnโt played since Week 1, so Jackson has a leg up on Bailey, so to speak, and should be able to take advantage of Baileyโs time away from the game.
Jackson did miss workouts Wednesday and Thursday, but he returned to full action in Fridayโs practice, and based on that, he should be ready to go.
Add to that the fact that Riversโ other big target, tight end Antonio Gates, is likely to miss the game, and Jackson will be Riversโ go-to guy against a Denver defense thatโs had trouble defending the pass.
