Indianapolis Colts: Indianapolis Fans Could Get Exposed Sunday

Word around the league is that more than 10,000 Steelers fans will invade Lucas Oil Stadium for Sundayโ€™s prime-time matchup of the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts.ย  If thatโ€™s true, shame on you Colts fans.

This team needs you to support them win or lose. If theyโ€™re going to have any edge, itโ€™s supposed to be crowd noise to disrupt the game plan for the Steelers.ย

Year after year people flocked to scalpers and local ticket brokers to find tickets for big games on the season. Where are your so-called fans now?

Isnโ€™t the season sold out anyways?ย  How many commercials did you hear about getting on the Colts season ticket waiting list the last few seasons?ย  Matter of fact how many billboards were around town?

My question to you is why are these opposing fans getting tickets and where are the Colts fans that would do anything to just go to a game?

You so called die-hard fans that say youโ€™ve been a fan since 1984 are just blowing smoke. I donโ€™t believe any of you. If you were such a diehard the Dome would have been sold out for years. Mr. Fan since 1984, why are there 70,000 seats at Lucas Oil and supposedly over 10,000 of them will filled by the opposing teams fans? Arenโ€™t you the ones saying you supported this team in 1-15 seasons and the Jeff George days?

This so-called football town is going to get exposed on Sunday and itโ€™s no one's fault but yours.ย  NBC will hype up that they will have the coverage of this years Super Bowl and it will be at Lucas Oil. They will test out some camera angles and look for some story-lines.ย  How is it going to look to millions of viewers watching at home when the home team/host city has a little bit of adversity and a stadium filled with Steelers' fans?ย

What else is Al Michaels and Cris Collingsworth supposed to talk about if the game gets out of control? You so called die-hard Colts fans begged and pleaded to get a Super Bowl because youโ€™re such big football fans and have endless support for the Colts and the NFL. You tried to plead that this is no longer a basketball state, but now a football state.

Congratulations, you will be exposed on national TV as what you all are: a bandwagon state whoโ€™s not a fan of the Colts, but a fan of whoโ€™s winning now.

Donโ€™t give me the economy excuse or Iโ€™m not supporting a losing team either. Iโ€™m not buying it.ย  Youโ€™re the same fans who were begging and pleading to get tickets just as recent as last season. Thereโ€™s quite a bit of cheap tickets left and youโ€™re not buying them. Youโ€™re okay with opposing fans coming into town and snatching them up.

What does that tell the Super Bowl committee about whether they should come back again?ย  There are many of other deserving fan bases and new stadiums that make you fans looks foolish. Why would they waste their time coming to Indianapolis in a cold month of February to mingle with a bunch of bandwagon fans who donโ€™t care about the NFL or the Colts, but purely their personal status of whatโ€™s cool right now?ย

Enjoy this Super Bowl Colts fans or should I say posers because this will be the last time it comes unless you man up and support this franchise win or lose. The choice is yours.
