The Miami Dolphins are heading up to the Georgia Dome to face the Atlanta Falcons in the first games of both of their preseasons.

Even though some may think that preseason doesn't matter, I can all but guarantee you this is a big moment for both teams, as it is the first time they can get a look at their players in game-time situations against a real opponent at real speed.

The Dolphins have had a few disappointing years and they are in arguably one of the best divisions in the NFL, so whatever they can do to get a fast start is going to help them. Preseason wins don't mean anything, but a gain in confidence and momentum is huge.

The Falcons are entering the season with potentially one of the most explosive offenses to grace the NFL. They made a bold move in the 2011 NFL draft, so they are really going to have to hope that it works out for them.

Quarterback Matt Ryan needs to continue to make progress, so these few games will be a good opportunity for him to get some reps in and get his timing down pat with his receivers.

Dolphins Key Addition: Undoubtedly the answer here has to be Reggie Bush. He's going to be in a new scenario, in a new town and he will have a new role. Bush will be expected to be the starter, and the Dolphins are hoping that he can bring that explosive "home run hitting" dynamic to their backfield. He will also probably play a big role in returning punts.

Falcons Key Addition: Trading up to draft former Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones was a very bold move by the Atlanta organization, so it is going to be expecting him to have a big impact right off the bat. I expect that he will play a big role moving from the slot to the outside, and he should add another explosive element to Atlanta's offense. Perhaps Rookie of the Year material.

Dolphins Biggest Loss: Losing running back Ronnie Brown was a huge loss for Miami. Had he stayed with the team, it would have had a great dynamic with Bush splitting time with Brown. There are questions about whether or not Bush can be starter material, so this might come back to really hurt them.

Falcons Biggest Loss: Michael Jenkins was a great option for Ryan and the Falcons, so losing him could potentially hurt their overall effectiveness as an offense. Hopefully Jones will be able to make up for the loss, but either way it's never good to lose an offensive option on an offensive team.

What They're Saying: Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel is very worried about Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne and his erratic performances. He feels that the offense is young and has talent, but none of it will work if Henne can't get them the ball.Ā

The Associated Press wrote an interesting piece talking about how Falcons coach Mike Smith is hoping that Julio Jones and the other Falcon newcomers can play within the system until they get comfortable. He thinks that Jones' temperament will be a huge asset to the team.Ā

What's Worth Watching:

I can't wait to see how Bush fits into this Miami offense. Obviously he's not going to get a whole lot of snaps in the preseason, but it will still be incredibly interesting to see how the Dolphins may be planning on using him and what kind of looks they put him in.

As far as the Falcons are concerned, I think it's going to be very intriguing to see if their offense can live up to the hype that has been built up for it. The Falcons are supposed to be the next best thing offensively since the greatest show on turf. Can Jones really make that much of a difference?

Biggest Storyline:

The Bush experience in Miami is easily the biggest storyline of this game in my opinion. Some, including myself, really question whether or not Bush has the ability to be an every down starting running back in the NFL. I think he's best suited as a scat-back, but this is his chance to prove the doubters wrong. It will be very interesting.
