NFL Free Agency: How Do the Minnesota Vikings Replace Sidney Rice?
The Minnesota Vikings got into a bidding war with the Seattle Seahawks for the services of often-injured receiver Sidney Rice and lost.
Thankfully the team didn't get suckered into giving away the farm for a player who cannot stay healthy.
However, they did need a deep threat and someone to take the lid off for Percy Harvin in the passing game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So now that Rice is definitely not coming back, where do the Vikings stand?
A few familiar names remain, Randy Moss and Braylon Edwards being the two more well known.
Minnesota needs to have that receiver who can open the field, and the search is on, I assure you.
Where it ends is anyone's guess.
I would hesitate to worry about losing Rice too much though. Along with being injured frequently and selfish, he also had no advantage over any other receiver coming in.
What I mean by that is with the new regime and new quarterbacks, he would have been in the same place as anyone the Vikings can bring in.
It is always nice to keep the players you draft, but it is reasonable to say that Rice's best season is already behind him.
Oh! And a certain T-Jack is the guy charged with getting him the ball.
So he won't be rubbing it in Minnesota's face anytime soon.
