New Orleans Saints Reportedly Trade Reggie Bush to Miami Dolphins
According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, via twitter, the Saints and Dolphins have reached terms on tailback Reggie Bush. According to Glazer, "[The deal is] contingent on Bush agreeing to a new contract [with the] Fins."
At first glance the trade seems to be a plus for all parties involved. The Saints, who would've axed Bush had a trade deal not been reached, got some worth out of the dynamic halfback. More than likely, potential compensation would be no more than a late-round pick given Bush's imminent availability due to the hefty $11.8 million the Saints would owe him.
Although the possibility of Ronnie Brown returning via free agency remains, the deal helps the Dolphins improved their depth and flexibility at the position with a relatively young and talented player.
If Brown returns to Miami, Bush could prove to be a great compliment, spelling Brown and adding some interesting possibilities schematically for the Dolphins. Bush's addition could make for some interesting flourishes in personnel packages, including the now (mostly) defunct Wild Cat package.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The trade is seemingly a win for Bush himself, as well. The disgruntled halfback had become a bit of a distraction in recent months. His most notable moment coming during the 2011 NFL draft when the Saints drafted Alabama running back Mark Ingram 28th overall. In response, Bush tweeted, "It's been fun New Orleans."
South Beach is a fitting enough destination for a pro with a diva-esque attitude. Maybe the change of scenery will serve him well. I guess we'll just wait 'til September and see.
