Breaston comes to Kansas City after four years in Arizona, which saw him catch passes from a host of different quarterbacks.
His best season was in 2008, when he had over 1,000 yards receiving and three touchdowns for the Cardinals.
He will now be reunited with his former offensive coordinator Todd Haley and he adds to an already dynamic offense in Kansas City.
He joins Pro Bowlers Dwayne Bowe, Jamaal Charles and Matt Cassel on a young, but very dangerous offense for this season.
Breaston is a playmaker and will likely be used mainly in the slot and also alternate some snaps on the outside with rookie Jonathan Baldwin.
The only major issue with him is some knee problems that he has had over the past season, which hurt some his playing time in 2010.
Obviously, the Chiefs saw something in him that made them want to take a chance on the former Michigan star, and they hope that they can get the same playmaking ability that he has displayed over the past three seasons while playing for the Cardinals.
Overall, it appears to be a very good addition to the team.
Good job to Scott Pioli and his staff.
