Updated Breaking News: Philadelphia Eagles Front Office Trying to "Win the Deal"
Sources close to the Philadelphia Eagles brain trust state that the Eagles are asking for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a first round pick. According to Tim Ring, an Arizona local news reporter, and his twitter page:
""Eagles tring to squeeze Cards for a 1st round pick plus DRC. Cardinals currently offering DRC and 2nd. Man, that's a rough call."
"
Tim Ring also added that his sources have told him:

""Once again, I'm told Howie Roseman and Joe Banner are trying to "win the deal" rather than make a fair deal, shake hands and say good luck."
"
Many speculated that the Philadelphia Eagles and Andy Reid would ask for a draft pick along with the Arizona Cardinal cornerback, but a first round pick is quite the demanding asking price.
Seems like the Eagles have began what could be a tiresome back and forth Mexican standoff between the two teams over the course of what could be a long drawn week between the two sides. They have begun to posture themselves to receive high compensation for giving away a potential long time starting quarterback to the Arizona Cardinals. The reputation that surrounds dealing with the Philadelphia Eagles indicates that they usually have come out ahead in recent years.
Look for the Cardinals to balk at the Eagles' demand and come back with a counter offer sometime tonight or tomorrow.
Keep your eyes and ears open for this back and forth negotiations. Whomever comes out on top in the negotiations expect a deal by this weekend. If not, do not rule out the possibility that Kevin Kolb remains in Philadelphia to back up the injury prone Michael Vick.
