Reggie Bush and the Best Dressed Players in the NFL

Steven GerwelJul 21, 2011

The final season of Entourage will premiere this Sunday on HBO at 10:30 p.m. EDT.Ā

So in honor of the show's final season, lets take a look around the league and see the players from a different perspective.Ā

When away from the gladiator arenas, which players hit the night clubs in the best suits and the shiniest shoes?Ā

There are many players who are modest, blue collar and could care less about "the scene," but some players show up on the tabloids just like any other celebrity.Ā

So let's take a look at players around the league, and let's see which ones are the sharpest when they're with their own entourage. Ā

Terrell Owens

1 of 9

An outside observer who doesn't watch football probably thinks Terrell Owens is a movie or music star.Ā

Whether he's court-side at a Lakers game or out at a night club, Owens is always dressed for the cameras with aviator shades, a suit or even an Ed Hurley-style t-shirt.Ā

Someone like Owens has to be ready for the cameras, considering the media can sell almost anything he does as newsworthy.Ā

But it's not like he doesn't enjoy the attention—it's the exact opposite actually. Whether it's reality television or a broadcasting gig, we'll continue to see plenty of T.O. even after he retires.Ā

Braylon Edwards

2 of 9

If you Google the words "Braylon Edwards" under images, chances are you'll only see two pictures—Braylon Edwards in football pads or Braylon Edwards in a custom-tailored suit.

The Grizzly Adams style beard he sported on last year's season of HBO's Hard Knocks was a bit of a failed fashion statement, but you have to give him credit for being gutsy enough to try something new.

But outside of the beard, Edwards knows how to dress sharp. Ā

LaDainian Tomlinson

3 of 9

LaDainian Tomlinson is one of the most dynamic runners to ever play the game.

He had a great career in San Diego, and he was given a chance to recreate himself as a member of the New York Jets, despite being slightly past his prime.

But moving to New York did not just allow his football career to benefit. Now LT gets to show off his sleeveless sport coats in front of the fashion capital of the entire country. Ā

Richard Seymour

4 of 9

Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour has all of his suits specially made to fit his enormous frame.Ā

Now that he's out in California after he was traded to the Raiders from the New England Patriots, looking sharp is almost a necessity.

But whether he's in a suit or a t-shirt, one thing that will always stand out are those three big rings on his fingers—one for each Super Bowl victory.Ā

DeSean Jackson

5 of 9

DeSean Jackson threatens to score every time he touches the ball, whether it's as a wide receiver or as a punt returner.Ā

But on top of his dynamic and dangerous speed, Jackson can also pick out a nice outfit or two.Ā

Sometimes it's a suit, as seen above, or tuxedo vest. Or sometimes it's a more down-to-earth hoodie with worn down jeans. Ā

Matt Leinart

6 of 9

Matt Leinart is always a hit with the tabloids and theĀ paparazzi.Ā

His fame is deserved due to his success in college with USC, but he hasn't done anything on a professional level to deserve the fame he has, which sort of puts him on the same level as Paris Hilton—or maybe one of the Kardashians.

But even though he doesn't do anything on the field to deserve the attention he gets, Leinart still gets it nonetheless.

And like many of the USC alumni, he learned to dress like a celebrity at a very young age.

Larry Fitzgerald

7 of 9

Sometimes it's the thick rimmed glasses or sometimes paper-thin rims. Sometimes the glasses have an orange tint, sometimes no tint at all.Ā

Either way, Larry Fitzgerald makes the nearsighted and farsighted more comfortable about theirĀ eyewear.Ā

Combine that with his all-white tuxedo, plus a black tie, and Fitzgerald makes the cut as one of the best-dressed players in football. Ā  Ā

Tom Brady

8 of 9

On top of being a three-time Super Bowl champion, a six-time Pro Bowler and a two-time NFL MVP, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots also leads the NFL in fashion sense.Ā

Brady has appeared in numerous advertisements, such as ads for SmartWater, Citizen Eco and Stetson cologne, and he's also been on the cover of GQ Magazine multiple times.

He has also made television appearances on Family Guy, The Simpsons and Entourage. Ā

Apparently for Brady, being the face of a franchise and a dynasty means looking the part. Ā

Reggie Bush

9 of 9

Reggie Bush has a well-publicized public life in the Hollywood scene, which is probably expected when dating a Kardashian (I never thought I'd ever mention the Kardashians in any of my articles ever, now I've done it twice).

Like his USC classmate Matt Leinart, Bush further proves that USC athletes are taught to dress a certain way in order to adhere to the celebrity status they obtain in Los Angeles, as well as around the country.

The white Red Bull cap is a good accessory to go with the black wool outfit, but outside of the photo above, Bush is frequently spotted in custom tuxedos, with or without the jacket, and like Terrell Owens, Bush is also a fan of the aviator shades. Ā
