2011 Fantasy Football: Interesting Players to Target (Dynasty Edition)

James Hatfield Jun 6, 2018

Dynasty fantasy league owners know that finding a young position player that you can hold onto for years is key when going into your 2011 draft. The following short list has some interesting players to consider in your dynasty league drafts.

LeGarrette Blount (RB, TB)

It's interesting to me that the Bucs did not draft a new running back in the 2011 draft. This goes to show that they have a bit of confidence in Blount's future for 2011.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

He topped 1,000 yards with six TDs in 2010. The Bucs only started using Blount in Week 3, and he racked up some fairly solid RB numbers.

Blount will be around in the later rounds of your draft, has solid upside and is worth consideration; he's a back capable of over 1,000 yards and near double-digit TDs.

Mikel Leshoure (RB, DET)

With Jahvid Best's size and history of injuries, I can only see upside for Mikel Leshoure, and he is on my list of later-round targets. He is going to get the goal-line work for the Lions and will also be a change-of-pace back in 2011.

He is an easy dynasty league pick and a must-handcuff for Jahvid Best owners.

Sam Bradford (QB, StL)

I can't get it out of my head when Larry Fitzgerald says Sam Bradford is one of the best QBs he has seen.

The issue with Bradford is his lack of receiver targets in St. Louis. He was still able to put up 18 TDs and more than 3,500 yards in his rookie 2010 campaign.

Last year, I was telling everyone not to give up hope on Sam Bradford before the season started, as he was a special QB. He has tons of upside in 2011, and is an easy dynasty league pick this year.

Julio Jones (WR, ATL)

It's always a gamble selecting rookies in your draft, but, as dynasty league owners know, rookies are gold.

Julio Jones is in a perfect situation to shine and produce. Roddy White has always needed a solid receiver on the other side, and with Roddy drawing double coverage, Matt Ryan should look Jones' way frequently.
