Just because you’ve slipped behind in the stolen base category doesn’t mean you can’t catch up.  Here are some reasonably available stolen base options.



Jason Bartlett, San Diego Padres:  Bartlett is taking some time on paternity leave, but will likely be back soon. He is hitting .275 over the past 15 days with six runs and five stolen bases. On the year he’s hitting .244 with 35 runs, a home run, 21 RBI, and 20 stolen bases. Jason is owned in less than 10 percent of fantasy leagues.

Andres Torres, San Francisco Giants:  Torres is batting .302 over the past 15 days with seven runs, three RBI, and four stolen bases. On the year he’s struggling hitting .235 with 35 runs, three home, runs, and 17 RBI, but he has 12 stolen bases in 66 games. Andres is owned in a little over 20 percent of fantasy leagues.

Roger Bernadina, Washington Nationals:  Bernadina is hitting .265 over the past 15 days with 11 runs, three RBI, and four stolen bases. On the year he’s hitting .264 with 34 runs, five home runs, 20 RBI, and 15 stolen bases in 63 games. Roger is owned in 10 percent of Yahoo! and 19.6 percent of ESPN leagues.

Jemile Weeks, Oakland A’s:  Weeks is hitting .333 over the past 15 days with four runs, four RBI, and four stolen bases. On the year he’s hitting .319 with 17 runs, 11 RBI, and ten stolen bases in 35 games. Jemile is owned in less than 25 percent of fantasy leagues.

Cameron Maybin, San Diego Padres:  Maybin is hitting .255 over the past 15 days with six runs, three RBI, and three stolen bases. On the year he’s hitting .260 with 41 runs, five home runs, 21 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. Cameron is owned in 13 percent of Yahoo! and 18.5 percent of ESPN leagues.

Ben Revere, Minnesota Twins:  Revere is hitting .250 over the past 15 days with ten runs, five RBI, and three stolen bases. On the year he’s hitting .266 with 28 runs, 14 RBI, and 13 stolen bases in 56 games. Ben is owned in five percent of Yahoo! and 14.9 percent of ESPN leagues.

Alex Presley, Pittsburgh Pirates:  Presley has been great in his 17 games as Jose Tabata has been out. He’s hitting .352 with 12 runs, a home run, nine RBI, and four stolen bases. Even when Tabata returns, the Bucs will probably have to find a way to get him regular at bats. Alex is is owned in ten percent of Yahoo! and 16.9 percent of ESPN leagues.
