NFL Lockout: Could Plaxico Burress Land in Miami Following the Lockout?
Brandon Marshall and Plaxico Burress on the field at the same time would create one defensive nightmare, and quite possibly be the NFL's top wide receiver duo—or at least that's what Burress thinks.
Burress recently spoke on WQAM in Miami that he would certainly welcome the idea of staying in Miami for the entire year, being a member of the Miami Dolphins, according to ProFootballTalk.
Marshall and Burress, wouldn't that be something? If Burress plays at the same high level that he did prior to being arrested, then it would be a prolific passing attack.

However, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are "absolutely not interested" in signing Burress.
As the NFL lockout is projected to end this upcoming Thursday, according to multiple sources, the possible destinations of Burress is definitely going to develop into quite the story.
Burress is a very talented receiver that stands in at 6'5" and is a legitimate threat as he mostly lines up in the slot, creating quite the mismatch for opposing defenses.
It will remain unclear on which teams that will target Burress, but disregarding what Salguero believes, I firmly believe that Burress could dramatically change Miami's offense if he's added and is able to perform at a high level.
Some other teams that come to mind are the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks as possible landing spots for the former New York Giant and Super Bowl champion.
However, the addition of Burress to the Miami Dolphins would certainly be an interesting move as he'd join Marshall and could potentially create the league's most dynamic passing attack—the Jets, Patriots and Bills better hope that Burress decides to sign elsewhere.
