Plaxico Burress Video: Watch Raw Footage of Burress' Release from Jail
Plaxico Burress is a free man.
The soon-to-be 34-year-old was released from jail this morning, and as this video shows, he chose to wear shades and a Phillies hat.
Everyone has a different opinion as to where Burress should play, but one thing remains true: Buress will be playing football in 2011. Well, that is if we even have a season in 2011.
Even though the lockout continues, I believe that there will be a season this year. The NFL would miss out on so much by not giving fans a full season.
Also, in this video you hear Adam Schefter's take as to where Burress might land. Schefter points out that Burress isn't the only veteran wide out available this offseason, adding that not many teams will be after Burress.
While Schefter may be right, it's hard to believe that Burress won't in the league next year. He has problems and issues, but then again...so do many other NFL players.
Despite Schefter's claim, I believe there are multiple teams that will at least consider signing Burress. He is a 6'5" experienced receiver who is a lock in the red zone.
How could you pass that up?
The Phillies hat could be a sign that Burress wants to be with Michael Vick and the Eagles. Burress was born in Virginia, played college ball at Michigan State and was drafted by the Steelers. He has no ties to the Phillies.
So, will Andy Reid and the Eagles roll the dice and sign Burress?
I think they will, but what about you?
