When the New Orleans Saints traded up in the first round to select Alabama running back Mark Ingram, Reggie Bush wasn't happy.

He tweeted "It's been fun, New Orleans" right after the pick was made.

It's clear that Reggie Bush feels unwanted, but is he actually not wanted in New Orleans?

Yes, they traded a first-round pick for Ingram, no that doesn't spell the end of Reggie Bush in New Orleans.

It could mean the end for Pierre Thomas rather than Bush.

Reggie has been a little disappointing for the Saints since they made him the second overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft, but to call him bust would be unfair.

He was an impact player for New Orleans.

Sean Payton had this to say, “It was similar to the talk I had with Deuce McAllister in 2006 after we drafted Bush. The player just needs to know what vision you have for them,” Payton said. “No. 1, we’ve kind of always separated the skill set of Reggie Bush. There's so many unique things he brings to the position.”

So, does this mean Reggie Bush is really done with the Saints? I think not.

If Bush agrees to re-work his contract he'll be a Saint for a long time.

But it's all up to Bush. I believe that if Reggie Bush wants to be a Saint next year, he will be.
