In an attempt to convince all of the fans there will still be football this season, the NFL announced the preseason schedule for the 2011 season today.

This season the St. Louis Rams will be a part of the first official 2011 preseason game, the Hall of Fame game played in Canton, Ohio, at Fawcett Stadium.

The game will be played against the Chicago Bears on August 7th and mark the fourth time the Rams have taken part in the game, the last occurrence being in 2001 with a victory over the Miami Dolphins
