Familiar Faces and Different Places – American League

While the National League has many face that have changed places, the American League didn’t quite matchup with them in how many people changed places.  Maybe the players like it more in the American League, so once they get to an American League team, they try to stay there. In this article I’ll cover the American League teams with those “familiar faces”.

Boston Red Sox:

Paul Byrd - Indians and Angels Starting Pitcher

J.D. Drew – Dodgers Outfielder

Mark Kotsay – Oakland A’s Outfielder

Chicago White Sox:

Orlando Cabrera – Angels Infielder

Ken Griffey Jr. – Reds Outfielder

Nick Swisher – A’s Utility Player

LA Angels:

John Garland – White Sox Starting Pitcher

Mark Teixeira – Braves and Rangers Infielder

Torii Hunter – Twins Outfielder

Tampa Bay Rays:

Chad Bradford – Red Sox and A’s Relief Pitcher

Matt Garza – Twins Pitcher

Troy Percival – Angels Relief Pitcher

Dioner Navarro – Dodgers Catcher

Willy Aybar – Dodgers Infielder

Eric Hinske – Boston and Toronto Outfielder

Joe Maddon – Angels Bench Coach

George Hendrick – Angels Outfielder

Don Zimmer – Red Sox Manager
