NFL Two-A-Days: Previewing The 2011 Offseason For The Minnesota Vikings

Ryan FryeFeb 21, 2011

The idea orginated from ESPN's Mike & Mike. Here is my preview for the Minnesota Vikings:

5. Is the Vikings QB for 2011 currently on the roster?

Joe Webb is a possibility, but I don't see Leslie Fraizer depending on him.

So the answer is no.

I believe that the Vikings will pick a quarterback up via free agency.

4. Is RB Adrian Peterson starting to show signs of wear and tear?

The Vikings need to get another running back to lighten the load for Peterson.

In no way am I saying he is done, but he has had a ton a carries over the past few years.

The Vikings just need to bring in some help for him.

3. Has the Vikings' once formidable defensive front seen better days?

Kevin Williams, Pat Williams, E.J. Henderson, Ben Leber and Antoine Winfield are all over 30 years old.

That makes up their interior defensive line, two starting linebackers and your top cornerback.

Leslie Fraizer is going to need to rebuild this defense in the next few offseasons.

2. What is the Vikings' top priority in the NFL Draft and/or free agency?

North Carolina DE Robert Quinn could possibly replace free agent Ray Edwards. In fact, both Mel Kiper and Todd McShay have Minnesota picking him.

I don' think they'll pick a quarterback since they are in a win-now situation.

1. Stock: Rising or Falling?

The Vikings are in a tough division without a quarterback—that can only mean that they're going in the wrong direction.
