Miami Dolphins Coaching Staff: Man-Up and Give the Dolphins Fans an Explanation
Brandon Marshall, I appreciate you going to the press conference and giving answers like a real man. He apologized for an "embarrassing" performance on Sunday.
The Dolphins offense has been terrible all year, ranking 17th in the NFL in rushing and 21st in passing. Statistics aside, subtle plays during the games need the most explaining and apologies from the coaches, not the players.
To be straightforward and honest, enough is enough. Why am I hearing honest answers from Marshall but nothing from Dan Henning?

GM Predicts 'A Lot' of Draft Trades
Dan Henning, it is time to be the grown man that you are supposed to be and give the fans answers to what you were thinking. I sure cannot come up with any explanations
Chad Henne, you do not have to keep hiding behind your coaches (Henne said it was the whole team's fault for the loss in his press conference). Again, I am sick of hearing things from the players.
This goes beyond just this past Sunday but let's first focus on that game. Henning needs to explain his "wildcat" call on 2nd-and-10 late in the fourth quarter with the Dolphins down three points.
As a fan, and I am sure the rest of you would agree with me, I am sick of seeing calls to play for the field goal—especially when the field goal is still at 48 yards and far from being a chip shot, or when Henne had finally gotten some rhythm and completed nine passes in a row at one point, or when your small playoff chances are still alive, or when you are at home in front of your fans who pay a ton of hard-earned money to see your team.
Dan Henning, what was that about? Why not try to win? Why not keep riding a hot quarterback? Please explain what you saw that the rest of us are not seeing.
Tony Sparano, you are not innocent either. The buck stops with you. You hear the plays being called.
When you heard the "wildcat" package being called, why did you not step in and say, "Are you kidding me? No way we are running that."
I just want to know why. I am so confused by so much this team does offensively. In Baltimore, the Dolphins ran down the Ravens throat and scored, then never ran again.
Why?
The Bills have the worst run defense in the NFL, and the Dolphins ran 19 times and throw 48 times.
Why?
On third and between eight and 10 yards, the Dolphins run, yet on third and between one and three yards, they throw.
Why?
The Dolphins constantly split Patrick Cobbs and Lou Polite out wide to match them against cornerbacks. How in the world does that make any sense? Wouldn't you rather match them up against linebackers?
I just want to know the answers to these questions, and I want to hear the answers from the coaches. I think that is pretty fair to ask.
And from all those orange seats on Sunday, I think the rest of my Dolphins fans are sending the same message. Enough is enough, the Heat are doing whatever it takes to win championships, why aren't the Dolphins?
