Davone Bess Is Out of the Fog: An NFL Player Who's Earned Everything He's Gotten

There are some NFL players who are financially set for life before ever stepping onto the field and go downhill from there—think Alex Smith and Jamarcus Russell.

Then there are the players who work their tails off and earn everything they get.

Dolphins receiver Davone Bess is of the latter of the two.

He recently signed a three-year $9 million extension with Miam, keeping him in the aqua and orange through 2012.

NFL Films does an incredible job with the following mini-documentary, giving you a glimpse into his life-long fight overcoming the odds.

Bess has 55 receptions for 600 yards and 3 touchdowns on the season.
