Predicting The Jets-Patriots Showdown Quarter By Quarter
Come Monday night, we will be watching the game of the year in the NFL between the 9-2 Jets and the 9-2 Patriots. Players like Mark Sanchez, Tom Brady, Ladanian Tomlinson, Wes Walker, and coaches like Rex Ryan and Bill Belichek will all be fighting each other for the AFC East lead.
Here is a look at my predictions for the game quarter by quarter, and who will have the biggest impact for each team throughout the game.
Keys To Victory
1 of 6
Jets:
1. Stop the pass- The Patriots running game has been awful this year. So if the Jets can stop Tom Brady, they will win.
2. Contain Danny Woodhead- Danny has been on fire since coming over from the Jets. So if his older team can stop him, the Jets have a good chance of winning.
Patriots:
1. Cool down Santonio Holmes- Holmes has been on fire all season long since coming off his suspension. If the Patriots can cool down Sanchez's favorite target, the Patriots will win.
2. Play better defense- The Jets' defense is one of the best in the league. So if the Pats can play better D than them, they will win.

2nd Quarter: Jets and Patriots Are Tied at 10 at Halftime

3rd Quarter: Patriots Jump Out To a 20-17 Lead

Patriots impact player: Danny Woodhead
4th Quarter: We End In a Tie 23-23

Overtime: Jets Win With Another Clutch TD From Holmes

Santonio Holmes has been the most clutch reciever in the NFL this year. He will continue to have that role as the Jets win in overtime 29-23 to beat the Patriots.
