It is now Week 12 in the NFL and teams are beginning to put themselves into playoff mode.  You can expect some amazing games this Thanksgiving weekend like the Packers-Falcons, Buccaneers-Ravens, and Chargers-Colts.

At this point in the season, teams realize that every game is absolutley crucial to their hopes of a post-season appearance.  So the following questions arise:

With the firing of Brad Childress, will Brett Favre and the Vikings play better football?

Can Jason Garrett lead the Dallas Cowboys to their third striaght win since taking over as Head Coach?

Will the New York Jets extend their three game winning streak against the struggling Cincinnati Bengals?

Take a look, and enjoy the games this weekend...

New England Patriots(8-2) @ Detroit Lions(2-8)

In what is likely to be a blowout win for the New England Patriots, I'd be surprised if they gave up more than 10 points.  The Patriots have lost only once in their last eight games, and are coming off two huge wins against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts.

Tom Brady hasn't thrown an interception in his last five games, while throwing for nine touchdowns.  If Brady can continue to play smart football, not throwing any picks and remaining on the field, than the Lions are in for yet another loss.

Predicted Outcome: New England Patriots 30 - Detroit Lions 10

New Orleans Saints(7-3) @ Dallas Cowboys(3-7)

Both of these teams have been hot of late with the Cowboys winning two games in a row, and the Saints winning three straight.  The key in this game will be Jon Kitna and his arm.  If he can keep up with Drew Brees and the points he puts up, than this could be an interesting game.

Brees has scored at least two touchdowns in each of his last six outings.  Kitna is coming off of two consecutive three-touchdown performances, but in Week 8 and Week 9 he threw for a combined 2 touchdowns and six interceptions.

I'm going with the Saints by seven but I'm feeling a blow-out.

Predicted Outcome: New Orleans Saints 27 - Dallas Cowboys 20

Cincinnati Bengals(2-8) @ New York Jets(8-2)

The Cincinnati Bengals have been terrible so far this season, but every game the Jets play they tend to keep it a close.  Sanchez has been performing pretty well of late, but he hasn't been reaching the endzone much, with the exception of his three-touchdown performance last week.

Keeping it close with the Bengals could be dangerous just because of all the weapons they posses.  But, the Jets defense will prevail as usual, being the main reason they win this football game.

Predicted Outcome: Cincinnati Bengals 17 - New York Jets 23

Green Bay Packers(7-3) @ Atlanta Falcons (8-2)

The Packers and Falcons are two of the best teams in the National Football League this season.

On a four game winning streak the Green Bay Packers have to be confident, now being tied with the Chiaco Bears at 7-3, sitting on top of the NFC North.

On the other side, the Falcons are on their second four game winning streak of the season.  Matt Ryan hasn't thrown an interception in three games, but his multiple interceptions in Week 12 will cost the Atlanta Falcons the game.

Predicted Outcome: Green Bay Packers 33 - Atlanta Falcons 31

Pittsburgh Steelers(7-3) @ Buffalo Bills(2-8)

After starting out 0-8, the Bills have won their last two games, now looking to take down one of the best teams in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Right from the opening drive it will be clear that this will not be much of a contest for the Steelers.  After a disappointing loss in Week 10 to the New England Patriots, Ben Roethlisberger and Co. made a statement against the Oakland Raiders last Sunday.  Roethlisberger had a great game completing 18 out-of 29 passes for 275 yards, while throwing zero interceptions.  Expect Big Ben to have another huge game against a weak opponent.

Carolina Panthers(1-9) @ Cleveland Browns(3-7)

With a Lions win this past weekend, the Carolina Panthers are now the worst team in the National Football League.  No matter who they put at the quarterback position they continue to fail.

Coming off of two close loses by six points or less, the Cleveland Browns need a win if they want to extend their hopes of making a run to the playoffs.  Colt McCoy will continue to get better as the season goes on, but it seems like the coaching staff is restricting him a bit.  Let the young guy air it out!  This week McCoy will have the first multiple touchdown performance of his career.

Predicted Outcome: Carolina Panthers 16 - Cleveland Browns 23

Jacksonville Jaguars(6-4) @ New York Giants(6-4)

This is a big game for Jacksonville who can really make a big statement by beating the New York Giants.  The Jaguars have won three games in a row and are now tied with the Indianapolis Colts for first place in the AFC South.

But, the New York Giants will put an end to that, as well as an end to their losing streak by coming away with a win in Week 12.  The reason the Giants have remained so competitive in the NFC East is because they have a great all-around team.  The Giants are ranked in the Top 10 for passing offense, passing defense, rushing offense, and rushing defense.  After a rough loss to the Eagles last week, expect the Giants to beat the Jaguars and go on a winning streak, taking over the number one spot in their division.

Predicted Outcome: Jacksonville Jaguars 23 - New York Giants 30

Minnesota Vikings(3-7) @ Washington Redskins(5-5)

Last week, in overtime, the Redskins won a game they desperately needed against the Tennesse Titans.  Now only two games behind the NFC East leaders, the Eagles, the Redskins should be playing with a purpose in the upcoming weeks.

Disappointing is an understatement for the Vikings' 2010-11' performance so far.  But, the team has now fired Brad Childress, who was supoosively the problem, which means that this franchise should finally start to function like the professionals they are.  It's been depressing to watch a legend like Brett Favre perform so poorly, but this week he should give us a taste of the player he use to be.

Predicted Outcome: Minnesota Vikings 23 - Washington Redskins 20

Tennessee Titans(5-5) @ Houston Texans(4-6)

With all of the distractions now surrounding the Tennessee Titans, their winning streak will continue into Week 13 and maybe even further.

The Texans are another team who started off this season with some spark, but has since lost some steam dropping their last four games.  Arian Foster will have a huge game on the ground eclipsing 130 yards and scoring at least one TD.

Predicted Outcome: Tennesee Titans 17 - Houston Texans 24

Miami Dolphins(5-5) @ Oakland Raiders(5-5)

In what will be a very exciting match-up, the Raiders will come away with a much needed win after getting crushed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.

Darren McFadden will have a big game this week after only rushing for 14 yards last week.  McFadden has been scoreless in his last three performances, so don't be surprised if he finishes Week 12 with two touchdowns or more.

Predicted Outcome: Miami Dolphins 24 - Oakland Raiders 27

Kansas City Chiefs(6-4) @ Seattle Seahawks(5-5)

The Seattle Seahawks have continuously struggled on the ground this season which has been the reason for their lack of success of late, losing the last 3 out-of 4 games.

The Chiefs do not have this problem.  They have the best rushing offense ini the NFL, averaging 164.7 yards on the ground per game.  If the Chiefs want to deffeat the Seahawks they must run the ball a minimum of 25 times, splitting carries between Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones.

Predicted Outcome: Kansas City Chiefs 27 - Seattle Seahawks 23

Philadelphia Eagles(7-3) @ Chicago Bears(7-3)

Chicago has one of the best defenses in the NFL, but they will prove to be no match for the most versatile player to ever play the quarterback position in Michael Vick.

Vick will have one of his signature performances in Week 12, scoring at least three touchdowns.  The Eagles still have not lost a game that Michael Vick started and completed.

Predicted Outcome: Philadelphia Eagles 34 - Chicago Bears 20

St. Louis Rams(4-6) @ Denver Broncos(3-7)

The Rams'  losing streak will be extended by the Broncos when they travel to Denver this week.  The Broncos will finally begin to exhibit some kind of rushing attack after being the 32nd overall ranked rushing offense, only averaging 75.4 yards on the ground every game.  Watch for Knowshon Moreno to have a career day.

Predicted Outcome: St. Louis Rams 20 - Denver Broncos 24

Tampa Bay Buccaneers(7-3) @ Baltimore Ravens(7-3)

In what may surprise many, this will turn out to be a fairly high scoring game.

Josh Freeman and the Buccaneers offense will do some damage to the Ravens' defense, but Joe Flacco shall lead his team to victory.  In Flacco's last six outings, he has thrown a combined 11 touchdowns with only one interception.

It will be a very close game, but the Ravens offense will come up with a huge W.

Predicted Outcome: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30 - Baltimore Ravens 33

San Diego Chargers(5-5) @ Indianapolis Colts(6-4)

Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers are right back into the playoff mix in the AFC West after winning their last three games.  Rivers has thrown for a total of ten touchdowns and three interceptions in those last three performances.

But, Manning will win this battle between elite QB's, after a disppointing loss to Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Predicted Outcome: San Diego Chargers 24 - Indianapolis Colts 30

San Francisco 49ers(3-7) @ Arizona Cardinals(3-7)

Even with a 3-7 record, the San Francisco 49ers are only two games behind in the NFC West Standings.  With a win this week against the Cardinals, who are on a five-game losing streak, the 49ers will surprisingly be back in the hunt for a playoff appearance.

Coach Mike Singletary has confirmed that Troy Smith will start at quarterback this week.  Smith is a dangerous threat, that adds a Vick-type rushing threat alongside Frank Gore.  Against the 27th ranked passing defense and the 29th ranked rushing defense of the Cardinals, Troy Smith and Frank Gore should have big games.

Predicted Outcome: San Francisco 49ers 27 - Arizona Cardinals 24 OT
