This morning former Washington Redskin quarterback Colt Brennan was reportedly involved in a two car accident on the Big Island of Hawaii.

He was reported to be the passenger in an SUV that struck a Saab sedan.

Details are scarce but it was reported that Brennan suffered a head injury, face lacerations and internal bleeding.

He was reportedly medevacced to Queen's Hospital on Oahu.

No other details were available, but the prayers of the Redskins and their fans are with Brennan and his family.

The latest report that I've gotten and I caution that his is not verified, but what is coming out now is that Colt Brennan is in stable condition.

Still wishing him a speeding recovery, but this is indeed good news.

Update 10:20 AM EST

Colt Brennan's father told channel two news in Hawaii that Colt's injuries are not life threatening and that he has a couple of broken ribs and that they are still monitoring his head injury.

Brennan is in stable condition with several broken bones and severe head trauma.  He is recovering at Queen's Medical Center currently.
