New England Patriots' Hurt Locker: Tom Brady Caught with Indianapolis Colts Gear

Most people know how competitive Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are.  It has become must-see TV when these two future hall-of-famers square off, and this week is no different. 

At one point, pundits even said that this has become the biggest rivalry in the NFL.  This is saying a lot considering that they aren't even in the same division.

So how surprising is it to find out that Tom Brady had an Indianapolis Colts sweater in his locker stall?  At this time, it is unsure what the contextual details are surrounding this, but it's a shocking sight to behold.

Tom Brady has been known to throw a chess board on the floor if he loses to a fellow teammate, so it's safe to say that he wouldn't voluntarily have Colts gear in his locker.   Would he?

Does he use it as motivation?  Could it be some sort of sports psychology method?  Tom Brady isn't one of those quarterbacks who goes through the motions only to pick up his check on Monday.  He wants to be the best and who knows to what degree he'll go to to find an edge. 

He might say all the right things to the media, but we all know how much this rivalry means to him.  At this time there is no definitive way to solve the debate—Peyton or Brady? 

One has rings, the other will have all the records.  One is a stud in the clutch, the other consistently overcomes his team's defensive deficiencies. 

We'll save the debate for another day, but for now the only question I have is why would he have a Colts sweater in his locker? 

A prank?  Motivation?  A gift?

We'll probably never know the answer, but it is fun to speculate. 

Everything about this rivalry has been talked to death, so I offer a little levity to the conversation.
