Double G SportsNov 3, 2010

The Double G Sports Knight of the Week Award goes to a pair of brothers: The McCourty brothers, Devin and Jason, each grabbed an interception in Week 8.

Devin McCourty, the rookie starting cornerback for the New England Patriots, stripped Vikings wideout Percy Harvin and returned the interception for 37 yards. McCourty also recorded five tackles and three pass deflections in New England’s 28-18 win over Minnesota.

With the win, the Patriots have taken over first place in the AFC East.

Jason McCourty returned after missing Tennessee’s previous four games due to injury. He recorded three tackles, a pass deflection and returned his interception 11 yards. Despite McCourty’s contributions, Tennessee lost to the San Diego Chargers, 33-25.

Also in that game, Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt got the start after a monster Week 7 but didn't record any stats. San Diego Chargers long snapper Ryan Neill did not play.

Anthony Davis and the San Francisco 49ers traveled to London to take on the Denver Broncos. The rookie offensive tackle once again started on the 49ers' offensive line in the team's 24-16 win.

Nate Jones recorded two tackles for the Broncos in the loss.
