Battle Of The Bad , What Did We Sit Through

The much anticipated Battle of the Bay was more then disappointing for both teams involved.  Watching this game was I like watching a episode of Jersey Shore, you know its going to be bad and someone is going to end up hungover with some random person in their bed by morning. 

Congrats to the 49ers on their first win, half way through the season.  I still can not believe the comments that people are making about Alex Smith.  Comments like he has turned a corner, and maybe he has it all figured out now.  I laugh in the face of anyone that thinks that Alex Smith had an award winning performance on Sunday.  Let me remind everyone that this is his sixth year in the NFL and still making the same mistakes a rookie would. There are few words for how the 49ers have performed this season, I'm sure you can fill in the blanks. 

Not far in front of the 49ers are the Oakland Raiders, I am puzzled by how poor the Raiders have played. Its very disappointing to see the same mistakes for six straight weeks with no improvements.  There were so many errors in Sundays game its best if we just move on. The problem I have with the Raiders right now is there has been no improvement from week to week.  That is not coaching, that is not the game plan, that is all players and nothing else.

So as much as we want to blame the coaches its not there fault.  The game is played by the players when it comes down to it, and both sides were horrible to watch.

Both team should be embarrassed and apologise to the fans for having the poorest performance in the NFL this week. This week I give the Oakland Raiders a 2 and that is just for showing up to the right stadium.
