Kansas City Chiefs – I said I’d give them respect and move them all the way to the top spot if they beat the Indianapolis Colts, well they didn’t. Even so, the Chiefs rose in the rankings. Their defense was tremendous against Peyton Manning. The offense didn’t do much but with that kind of defense they’re going to be able to compete all year long.

Another big mover was the New York football Giants. Yea, the same Giants almost everyone wrote after two blowout losses to the Colts and Titans. Shit, even I wasn’t too high on them and their my squad but wow that defense has come to life. The defense has played lights out football the last two weeks, people didn’t want to give them credit after destroying the Bears but they have to now. The Houston Texans are a good football team, scratch that a very good football team especially offensively. That didn’t matter the Jints shut them down and the offense decided to help out for once and make this game a blow out. Are the Giants for real? I’m not sure but right now

The Minnesota Vikings are just an absolute mess, they’ve dropped into the bottom portion of my rankings and you know who can join them next week? The Dallas Cowboys, yea they had a nice comeback against the Titans but they are proving that they aren’t that good of a football team. The loser of next weeks desperation will drop into the bottom five or six teams. Sad turn around for two teams expected to challenge for the title.

There is one team slowly moving up my rankings but not getting the same respect as the Chiefs. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-1 and slowly earning my respect. QB Josh Freeman led the team on a very impressive late drive to edge out the Bengals. If they beat the Saints next week, I might have to start looking at them as a contender.

That’s all I’ve got this week for thoughts. Want to see more NFL Rankings go check out NE PATRIOTS DRAFT.
