Monday Night Football Meltdown With the Miami Dolphins
Before writing this article, I had to gather my feelings on what transpired since it is a sad day. The result was a personal reflection.
The program Wide World Of Sports once talked about โthe thrill of victory and the agony of defeatโ which is what many people in Miami are currently feeling.ย
I usually write about soccer, especially in the USA and Mexico, but I had to give some time to writing about the Miami Dolphins which is another one of my favorite teams.

My reason for writing is to attempt to get to grips with the sadness in Miami including my own.
I followed the game on Bleacher Report between the 'Fins and the New England Patriots.
The ideal thing would have been to write about a victory, but the mood in Miami appears to be one of national mourning. What happened to the 'Fins that were able to win two games? And then to lose the last two?
The streets of Miami, Fla., are filled with many theories such as the strong teams can defeat Miami while the 'Fins can defeat weaker ones.
It appears that while the statistics say one thing, the attitude of a player and a team can be the difference between a victory and a loss.
The New England Patriots defeated the Miami Dolphins 41-14 on Monday Night Football
in Sun Life Stadium in Miami. The defeat occurred on October 4, 2010 and it was because of the attitude of the players.
The other reason for the meltdown was that the Dolphins allowed the Patriots to take advantage of them. It was disgraceful seeing blocked field goal attempts and blocked returns.ย
The Patriots appear to have come back to life while the Dolphins have disgraced themselves by losing in spite of gaining yards.
