Pittsburgh takes the top spot in this weeks rankings and I have to ask you, the reader, how can’t they? The team is 3-0 without their starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, in fact they won their third game without their backup too. To me that’s the sign of a great team, once they get their pieces in place they should really take off.

Amongst the big movers in my rankings is Philadelphia and Kansas City. The Eagles jumped all the way to the tenth spot behind a very impressive performance by their new starter Michael Vick. If performances like last week continue, the Eagles could challenge for a NFC Title. Now the Chiefs, they just continue winning. If they win again in Week 5 against the Colts, I guarantee the undefeated Chiefs will jump into the top five.

The Giants a team who looked like a contender in week one, have already dropped to the bottom third of the rankings. They’re a team that’s frustrated and look plain old lost in all facets of the game, they’re season is spiraling out of control quick.

Dallas had a huge win over the Texans but I only moved them up slightly in the rankings. I need to see them continue performances like that before I believe in them again.

The Saints and Falcons both looked pretty impressive in Week 3 and that NFC South is going to be one huge dogfight all season long. I continue to hold the Saints above the Falcons because I think they’ve still been the better team to this point, only by a hair thou.
