On Sunday, September 26th, Invesco Field at Mile High will be your host for NFL betting action when Kyle Orton and the Denver Broncos play host to Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. These two teams clashed last season in Indianapolis with the Colts winning 28-16 and covering as 6.5-point chalk. Last week the Broncos took it to the Seahawks 31-14 as 3.5-point home favorites, while the Colts took care of business at home crushing the Giants 38-14 as 5.5-point chalk in the Manning Bowl.

Point Spread: Head Coach Jim Caldwell’s Colts are currently listed as 5.5-point favorites with the game ‘total’ set at 48; kickoff is set for 4:15 ET.

The Colts are Back! Indianapolis comes into Week 3 after a huge offensive output led by QB Peyton Manning. He threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-14 win over his younger brother Eli and the Giants. He has thrown for nearly 700 yards in the first two weeks to lead the league’s top ranked passing offense. The 18th ranked rushing attack had a strong showing with 160 yards on the ground and one touchdown. They converted 24 first downs and went 4-for-11 on third down attempts while owning a 10+ minute T.O.P advantage. The ‘D’ was very active recording two fumble recoveries, four sacks and, an interception.

Denver’s 5th ranked passing attack led by QB Kyle Orton shred the Seahawks secondary for 307 yards passing and two touchdowns. The 27th ranked rushing attack was again pretty non-existent with only 65 yards on the ground but did manage two scores. The offense converted 14-of-20 third down attempts and moved the chains 23 times with a near 15 minute time of possession advantage. The defense allowed 233 yards passing and 109 yards rushing but forced three turnovers including three interceptions.

Indianapolis has cashed seven of its L/11 point spread battles against AFC opposition, while going 7-2 ATS its L/9 road games. Denver has been a $$$-maker following a SU win cashing seven of its L/9 games ATS, while during the month of September has gone 4-1 ATS in its L/5 tries.
