Quarterbacks
1 of 5
1. Peyton Manning, Colts (at Broncos) - No Champ Bailey, no problem. Peyton will tear apart the Broncos secondary.
2. Drew Brees, Saints (vs. Falcons) - Falcons secondary is improved, but this is Drew Brees. He will have no problem with them.
3. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (at Bears) - The Bears have a solid defense, but you don't stop Rodgers and GB.
4. Philip Rivers, Chargers (at Seahawks) - Seattle is aging and Rivers loves to throw
5. Tony Romo, Cowboys (at Texans) - Texans just got torched by McNabb. Romo has more weapons and this should be a shootout.
6. Tom Brady, Patriots (vs. Bills) - Divisional matchup. Pats will attack a secondary that just got abused.
7. Matt Schaub, Texans (vs. Dallas) - Not an easy matchup, but Cutler picked them apart with ease. Schaub should have no trouble repeating that.
8. Michael Vick, Eagles (at Jaguars) - The Jaguars are terrible. Vick will run and throw a lot now that he's the starter. Expect big things.
9. Donovan McNabb, Redskins (at Rams) - He's playing the Rams. Enough said.
10. Joe Flacco, Ravens (vs. Browns) - Flacco will bounce back after 2 horrible starts. The Browns are an absolute mess.
11. Brett Favre, Vikings (vs. Lions) - Favre may not be on the same page with all his weapons and Sidney Rice out hurts. But this is the Lions.
12. Matt Ryan, Falcons (at Saints) - Ryan has a good history against the Saints. If Alex Smith can play well, I don't see why Ryan can't.
13. Jay Cutler, Bears (vs. Packers) - If Martz can make adjustments like he did against Dallas, Cutler can be productive. Still a tough matchup against the GB defense.
14. Eli Manning, Giants (vs. Titans) - He'll face a ton of pressure and he has Finnegan to worry about, but he should be productive.
15. Kyle Orton, Broncos (vs. Colts) - He as a tough matchup against a strong Colts secondary. Sanders out helps. However, Orton has been very productive thus far and may continue that trend.
Running Backs
2 of 5
1. Adrian Peterson, Vikings (vs. Lions) - Adrian Peterson against the Lions. Need I say more?
2. Chris Johnson, Titans (at Giants) - The Giants will key in on Johnson, but hes just too good.
3. Ray Rice, Ravens (vs. Browns) - Rice will get plenty of touches against the Browns. Look for him to breakout here.
4. Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars (vs. Eagles) - MJD is facing a weak Eagles run D. He should hopefully have his first big game of the season.
5. Frank Gore, 49ers (at Chiefs) - The Chiefs run defense should not be overlooked, but Gore should be able to continue his strong play after a brutal loss vs the Saints last week.
6. Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers (at Buccaneers) - The Steelers will lean on Mendenhall with Batch behind center.
7. Michael Turner, Falcons (at Saints) - Turner's groin should be a non issue. He will pick up where Gore left off last week.
8. LeSean McCoy, Eagles (at Jaguars) - The Jaguars can't stop anyone.
9. Arian Foster, Texans (vs. Dallas) - Not an easy matchup, but he's their workhorse. Schaub will open up some breathing room for Arian to work.
10. Pierre Thomas, Saints (vs. Falcons) - No Bush means PT all day.
11. Darren McFadden, Raiders (at. Cardinals) - The Cardinals can't stop anyone either. DMac is the back to own on the Raiders and is finally show is potential.
12. Joseph Addai, Colts (at Broncos) - Broncos will key in on stopping Peyton. Addai should have plenty of room to run.
13. Jahvid Best, Lions (at Minnesota) - Best is going up against a tough D, but he's flashed way too much potential thus far to ignore.
14. Knowshon Moreno, Broncos (vs. Colts) - Colts are very weak against the run. Look for the Broncos to pound the run.
15. Steven Jackson, Rams (vs. Redskins) - The Redskins have a solid defense, but Jackson will get plenty of touches to be productive.
16. Matt Forte, Bears (vs. Packers) - Forget Chester Taylor now. Forte is playing like he should have last year. Tough matchup, but the Bears are surprising everyone.
17. LaDainian Tomlinson, Jets (at Dolphins) - LT2 is the main man on the Jets. While this will probably be an ugly divisional matchup, he's a key part of their offense.
18. DeAngelo Williams, Panthers (vs. Bengals) - The Bengals have a solid defense and they'll likely key in on the running game with Clausen behind center. However Williams is a stud and has produced under far worse circumstances.
19. Clinton Portis, Redskins (at Rams) - Portis just isn't the same RB he used to be, but he will be getting plenty of looks against the lowly Rams.
20. Ahmad Bradshaw, Giants (vs. Titans) - This will be tough for Bradshaw, but he's been productive thus far and can be utilized in the passing game.
21. Cedric Benson, Bengals (at Panthers) - Not exactly an easy matchup. Benson has disappointed so far and I don't expect him to bust out this week either.
22. Jamaal Charles, Chiefs (vs. 49ers) - Todd Haley will have to finally concede that Jamaal Charles is their best offensive weapon. The Chiefs will need him in a tough game against the 49ers.
23. Mike Tolbert, Chargers (at Seahawks) - It looks like Mathews is out for Sunday. Tolbert will batter the Seahawks.
24. Tim Hightower, Cardinals (vs. Raiders) - If Beanie plays, he'll probably be eased back into the lineup. Hightower has been productive thus far.
25. Ronnie Brown, Dolphins (vs. Jets) - The loss of Kris Jenkins and Revis hurts the Jets Defense tremendously.
Wide Receivers
3 of 5
1. Miles Austin, Cowboys (at Texans) - Austin is Romo's favorite target now and he has shown why he was drafted so high. The game should be a shootout.
2. Reggie Wayne, Colts (at Broncos) - Without Champ Bailey, the Broncos will get abused through the air.
3. Roddy White, Falcons (at Saints) - Roddy will be getting looks all day long. Ryan loves to throw to him.
4. Andre Johnson, Texans (vs. Dallas) - The game will be a shootout. Even a less than 100% Andre is better than most WRs.
5. DeSean Jackson, Eagles (at Jaguars) - Vick and Desean showed good chemistry last week. It should continue against the horrible Jaguars.
6. Randy Moss, Patriots (vs. Bills) - Moss will play big in a divisional matchup. Bills secondary is solid, but this is Moss.
7. Greg Jennings, Packers (at Bears) - Austin destroyed them last week. Jennings should be able to do the same with Rodgers.
8. Brandon Marshall, Dolphins (vs. Jets) - No Revis Island for Marshall. I expect him to break out in this division matchup. Looks even better in PPR.
9. Calvin Johnson, Lions (vs. Vikings) - Shaun Hill knows how to do one thing; throw it to Megatron.
10. Wes Welker, Patriots (vs. Bills) - Welker has shown that while he is not 100%, he is still a beast. He's matched his total TDs from last year already.
11. Marques Colston, Saints (vs. Falcons) - The game will be a shootout. With Reggie out, Colston will get even more looks.
12. Anquan Boldin, Ravens (vs. Browns) - Flacco will bounce back and he will throw to Boldin. Expect a great game from him.
13. Jeremy Maclin, Eagles (at Jaguars) - Maclin has found the endzone two times. As Vick gets more comfortable with him, expect more yards.
14. Santana Moss, Redskins (at Rams) - Moss is playing against the Rams. Let me repeat that. The Rams.
15. Chad Ochocinco, Bengals (at Panthers) - It looks like his packed summer hasn't distracted him from football. The Bengals have enough weapons to give Chad some 1-on-1 situations.
16. Donald Driver, Packers (at Bears)
17. Steve Smith, Giants (vs. Titans) - If Finnegan is on Nicks, Smith will get a boost. Expect him to break out of his slump.
18. Mike Sims-Walker, Jaguars (vs. Eagles) - The Eagles defense hasn't been really strong. After a strong game last week, he can continue that this week.
19. Steve Smith, Panthers (vs. Bengals) - Clausen will get his first start against a strong Bengals secondary. He will look to Smith as a safety blanket.
20. Percy Harvin, Vikings (vs. Lions) - If he plays, Favre will look to him often.
21. Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals (vs. Raiders) - Nnamdi on him, Anderson throwing. Larry has fallen from grace.
22. Hines Ward, Steelers (at Buccaneers) - Batch is under center, but Ward can still be productive as his safety blanket.
23. Derrick Mason, Ravens (vs. Browns) - The Browns will key in on Bolden and Rice. That should free things up for Mason in what I expect to be a big game for Flacco.
24. Dez Bryant, Cowboys (at Texans) - This game has shootout written all over it. It's only a matter of time before Roy Williams is ignored completely on offense.
25. Malcom Floyd, Chargers (at Seahawks) - Floyd is the WR to own on the Chargers. Rivers loves to throw to this tall WR.
26. Nate Washington, Titans (at Giants) - Chris Johnson will open up the passing game tremendously. Plus, Nate has been on a hot streak.
27. Hakeem Nicks, Giants (vs. Titans) - If Finnegan is on Hakeem, don't expect much out of him. The Titans defense looks good so far.
28. Austin Collie, Colts (at Broncos) - Whether Champ Bailey play or not changes this matchup. Peyton will still look to Wayne first and Clark second. He can be inconsistent week to week.
29. Michael Crabtree, 49ers (at Chiefs) - Flowers is a solid corner and the Chiefs have an improved defense.
30. Pierre Garcon, Colts (at Broncos) - Like Collie, Garcon may be the odd man out.

2. Jermichael Finley, Packers (at Bears)

6. Jason Witten, Cowboys (at Texans)
7. Chris Cooley, Redskins (at Rams)
