Oakland Raiders: No. 1 Rushing Attack ?
Well after watching the first preseason game, I can almost say with certainty that Kiffin will be calling run plays like it was going out of style this season. We all know Fargas is a hard runner and will pick up where he left off last season.
McFadden, the top RB in this year's draft, is now an Oakland Raider. Although I am not convinced he will be the next Barry Sanders, I do think he will make a name for himself.
But the real story I think is about Michael Bush. After a season off with an injury, when he lined up he looked really good. Had some nice gains and a touchdown.

I think Bush will be the impact player for the Raiders running game this year more than Fargas and McFadden. Why, you ask?
Because he had the look and actions of really wanting to get that extra yard after the hit. I think Bush will break the 1,000-yard mark with a Raiders running game that will probably go over 2,000 yards rushing for the season.
You say I'm crazy, I say tomotoes you say tomatoes. Why I think 2,000 yards rushing will happen is a rather simple answer really.
Kiffin wants ball control and he will do whatever it takes to keep Russell from getting into positions where he will make some bad decisions. Simply put: Kiffin is a great coach instead of hanging the kid out to dry, he will wean him into a great QB for this team.
So yes, Russell will be the star of the raiders offense, just not this year. Kiffin still is building Russell and the offensive line and the wide outs. That is why I see many running plays in the near future.
That is why Oakland will have the No. 1 rushing attack in the NFL this season with a nine or 10 win season this year. Will we see the playoffs, doubt it this year, but we will see the start of what will be Kiffin's Raiders.
