Here are some highlights:
- Ivan Nova started and didn’t have the same stuff he had in his first two starts. His line: 4.2 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 0 K, 1 HR.
- The bullpen continues to be impressive, Boone Logan, David Robertson, Kerry Wood, and Mariano Rivera combined for 4.1 scoreless innings.
- The offense was big today without the benefit of the home run.
- Curtis Granderson lead the way, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI.
- Brett Gardner‘s legs were also big contributors as he scored three runs, he also had an RBI.
- Lance Berkman, Ramiro Pena, and Eduardo Nunez also had multi-hit games.
