Last season the Indianapolis Colts went through somewhat of a transition period as they released Peyton Manning's favorite target in the offense, future Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison, and had to deal with the retirement of head coach Tony Dungy.

Despite going through some changes that would devastate most teams around the league, the Indianapolis Colts played exceptionally well throughout the NFL regular season by winning 14 straight games and almost going undefeated before heading into the playoffs as the AFC's top team.

Along with dominating in the regular season, Peyton Manning and company were able to keep it going in the playoffs as they were able to beat the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets in order to reach the Super Bowl against the New Orleans Saints.

Unfortunately, the Colts weren't so lucky in the Super Bowl against the Saints and Drew Brees and company came out on top and won their first Super Bowl title in franchise history.

Even though the New Orleans Saints will head into the 2010 NFL regular season as the defending Super Bowl champs, the Indianapolis Colts are favored to win the Super Bowl this season in many online sportsbooks.

So with the odds in the Colts favor this season, the pressure is on once again, but if any player is up to the challenge, four-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning is and could be on his way to his second Super Bowl title this season if his team can stay healthy.
