Brett Favre To Packers: "It's Not Me, It's You"
In separate press conferences today, Brett Favre and Mike McCarthy staged their version of the Hollywood standard: The messy celebrity break-up.
Favre led off the show by telling reporters that he and the Pack, despite their long history, now were suffering from irreconcilable differences.
McCarthy followed by saying that their latest five hour meeting had proved that Favre was simply intransigent and that it was, indeed, time to move on for both player and team.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If they could part ways and leave it at that, this would be great news for rational human beings who simply wish that these two prima donas would finally fade to black. However, these two haters must come together to find Favre a new team.
Short of posting "Free to a Good Home" fliers all over the nation, Favre and the Packers must agree on a team that will pay for the privlidge of the circus being in town 24/7 until Favre really does hang it up.
The Packers are doing everything short of exploring trading Favre to the Calgary Stampede and Favre, to complete the "screw you" mood he's in, wants to stay in the division.
Sure, it looks nice that the Bears and Vikings need a good QB to become serious Super Bowl threats, but if the Cowboys were willing to dump Romo for Favre, he'd find a way out of going there too.
Now that all the BS has been stripped away, everyone should be able to see what this is, a high-stakes staring contest with a binary outcome.
If the Packers blink first, and let Favre go, he'll end up with the Vikings. If Favre falters now, and I can hardly believe he will have risked his legacy not to get exactly what he wants, he'll start week one for Tampa Bay.
Either way, this saga is far from over, but one thing is sure: Brett Favre will suit up for someone besides the green and gold this season.
