OMG!!!! The 49ers Vs The Vikings Or The Brett Favre Show

                    Hello fellow Niners Faithful!!! What a great start to our season. Our defense looks very good as well as Alex Smith. This was all evident Sunday night in our game versus the Minnesota Vikings. We did a lot of good things on both sides of the ball and this was with a mish mash of first and second teams against what was the Vikings first team for a while in the beginning of the game. This would have been a whole bunch more enjoyable if NBC didn't cut to the Brett Favre Man Love Clips that popped up every three minutes.

                   Now don't get me wrong, Favre is undoubtedly one of the best QB's ever, period. I just believe and know that there were at least 80 plus other players on both teams. They should have had the game in Minnesota because I don't think Al Michaels or Chris Collingsworth even knew that they were in San Francisco. I will admit he deserved a good amount of face time during the broadcast, absolutely, I am just saying that NBC displayed it's desperation for ratings with the shameless abuse of Favre Watch.

                 Whew, I got that out of my system and it feels great! There were some upside to the public's over fascination with Favre. I work with the public daily and Patrick Willis has been the talk of the last two days. One month ago, people barely even knew who he was here on the East Coast. P-Willie did what I and probably every other Niners faithful wanted to do since that game last year! Thank your Mr.52 for a great sack. You have to wonder if Coach Sing and Willis planned that one out. Brett didn't play anymore after that hit and Willis played a total of nine plays getting four tackles in the process.

                Another big bonus from the NBC visual rape was that NFL fans got to see what I have been saying since last year, 2010 will be a great year for us. Alex showed  what he can do with time and Nate Davis showed why we as Niners fans can ease our minds a bit. We finally have some good people in the pocket. Carr even looked good in the game against the Colts. The 49ers also showed our depth a bit as we have good players everywhere. I don't know about everyone else, but I have a lot more hope than I even had last week and that was tremendous hope for the 2010 season. The Niners WILL win the West and what else they win will be solely up to our team of 45 men. I just hope that the next time we get some prime time, that at least WE get some face time, especially in our own stadium.
