Many won't want to admit it, but tonight, Trent Edwards looked like a quarterback.

Edwards looked more confident than ever in all of his first quarter snaps, as Buffalo's starting quarterback was 5 for 8 for 93 yards and a touchdown, which included a 70-yard bomb to Lee Evans.

Edwards avoided going for the checkdowns, as he targeted his wide receivers for most of the first quarter except for a designed screen to CJ Spiller, which got blown up from the start.  His performance has all but closed out the competition for starting quarterback this preseason.

The Bills offense was rolling against the Colts for most of the first quarter, as CJ Spiller picked up 54 yards on 10 carries, taking one to the endzone for 31 yards, giving fans a glimpse of his breakaway speed a juking abilities as he evaded three tackles on the long run.

The Bills defense made Peyton Manning look human at times, as Manning made some poor decisions resulting in pass breakups.  Manning threw for a touchdown and an interception, but the interception can't be blamed on him, as the ball was tipped in the air by WR Anthony Gonzalez straight to McGee, who got up off the ground and ran the ball back for a 78-yard pick-six.

Manning's poor decision making in this game resulted in a pedestrian 8 for 15 and 91 yards.

Other than Edwards' lone touchdown, neither Brian Brohm nor Levi Brown were able to find the endzone through the air.  Brohm looked impressive, going 14 for 21 for 125 yards. However, most of Brohm's passes were immediate slants that went for short yardage.

A player who looked most impressive was undrafted rookie free agent Joique Bell, who on eleven attempts was able to rip off 80 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter that sealed the deal against the Colts backups.
