2010 NFL Preseason: Tennesseee Titans Prepare for Seattle Seahawks
It's hard to believe that training camp is already close to being over with.
The Tennesee Titans will get their first opportunity to see where the team stands in a gametime environment when they take on the Seahawks tomorrow night for their preseason opener.
Even though these games don't count in the standings, they're still extremely important. The Titans have a ton of young players that need to be tested.

Expect the wide receivers to get plenty of chances to show how they have progressed in training camp so far. Guys like Marc Mariani and Paul Williams are fighting for spots on this team and their preseason performances will determine their fate.
Going into the preseason opener, Chris Johnson's backup is still somewhat of a question mark as well. Javon Ringer will get that honor unless he has a horrible preseason.
Ringer has always done great with the few opportunities that he's gotten, so he should come out of preseason as the backup.
LeGarrette Blount and Stafon Johnson will get plenty of carries between the two to see where they're at.
As usual, we'll have to see if quarterback Vince Young has evolved his game at all from last season.
He was a little better in 2009, but his numbers were still average. In 12 games of action, he failed to reach 2,000 yards passing and had only 10 touchdown passes.
Obviously, those numbers have to get better if the Titans want to compete with the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans in the division.
Interestingly enough, the Titans ended last season's campaign against the Seahawks in close fashion. It was a game dominated by Chris Johnson chasing the single-season rushing record.
Johnson will probably get no more than three carries, but Young could see up to three series so the coaching staff can really see where his game is at.
As for the defense, look for both Ryan Mouton and Jason McCourty to battle hard to impress the coaches as they fight for that starting job opposite of Cortland Finnegan.
Mouton has looked great so far in training camp.
The picture will get a little bit clearer after Saturday night's preseason opener.
