Chicago Bears Release First Depth Chart Of The 2010 Season

Zack PearsonAug 9, 2010

With just a few days left before the Chicago Bears 2010 preseason opener against the San Diego Chargers, their first official depth chart was released today.

Most of the depth chart could be predicted, but there were a few surprises on there. Including Lance Louis as the starting right guard.

Frank Omiyale gets the start at right tackle, Omiyale didn't have a good year in 2009 but is now given a new shot at a different position.

In one of the more intriguing position battles, Nick Roach and Pisa Tinoisamoa are still battling at strong side linebacker. Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs, no surprise, are the other starting linebackers.

Danieal Manning gets the nod at strong safety, but Major Wright could win that battle.

Without a fullback listed on the depth chart, the Bears turn to Desmond Clark who is the starting H-Back. The H-Back is new is the Bears offense, and brought along with new offensive coordinator Mike Martz.
