2010 Fantasy Football Rookie Targets

In no particular order here are some of the rookies I am targeting in my 2010 fantasy football drafts.

Ryan Mathews - Ryan Mathews landed in an optimal situation in San Diego and I wouldn't hesitate to grab him in all formats. He is an extremely solid dynasty league pick and I look for him to have well over 1,000 yards and near double digit touchdowns in his rookie campaign.  If he is around in round four of your draft grab him; he may be worth the reach in round three.

Jermaine Gresham - Here is a tight end with solid hands. He will be the dump-off target for Carson Palmer in 2010 and with Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco he will never see double coverage.  I am looking for 650+ yards and 5 touchdowns in 2010.

Dez Bryant - This kid has an attitude which either means he is super talented and can back it up or it means he is foolish then will be sat.  I think he is talented and has potential in 2010, but don't get too hype on him as there are tons of targets in Dallas.  I would bet we see 700+ yards and over three touchdowns in his rookie season, but he does have upside.

Jahvid Best - Chris Johnson 2.0?  Everyone is hoping he is another Chris Johnson or Ray Rice as he is built just like them. I am betting we do see some nice production from the rookie and in a PPR league he is a great target. I would bet we see 1,000 combined rushing and catching yards with minimal touchdowns.

Mike Williams - Arrelious Benn isn't looking too hot and Mike Williams is looking to be the starter.  Temper your expectations with this rookie but it wouldn't shock me to see him put up 500+ yards and over four touchdowns in 2010.

Rolando McClain - if you play in an IDP league or a league that allows you to have one IDP player then McClain should not disappoint.  He is in a highly productive position in Oakland and we could see some very nice tackle numbers from McClain.  He is my favorite rookie IDP player for 2010.
