As training camps are under-way across the NFL, let the Super Bowl XLIV predictions begin.ย

This will shock a lot of people, but I predict that Brett Favre will face Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLIV.
I know that no one will even think about picking New England as a Super Bowl contender, but I do. Yes, I am a New England fan, but I spend a lot of team analyzing andย criticizingย this team.ย
Finally, Tom Brady is healthy. He is fully re-covered from major knee surgery, broken ribs, and a bad finger. I believe that Brady will have a very strong season this year along with Randy Moss and Wes Welker.
Yes, Welker is recovering from knee surgery, but he is very much ahead of schedule and he is looking great.ย
With the additions of Tory Holt, and rookie tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Fernandez, I can see this offensive being high powered and scoring a lot of points.
On the other side of the ball, this defense has got a lot of talent. Yes, last season's defense was questionable, but it was a rebuilding defense searching for it's identity.
Now, with leadership distributing to key defensive players, I can see this team playing much like the 2001 New England defense. Players like Jerod Mayo, Vince Wilfork, Brandon Meriweather, and Ty Warren will be the leaders of this defense, and they have a lot of upside.ย
My predictions are questionable, but they are bold. I can sit here and say that I believe that the New England Patriots will start a new dynasty this season.ย
