Can you smell that? That's the smell of NFL training camps, fresh and ready to begin for yet another year.

Now for those of you who choose to pay little attention to NFL training camps, I suggest you do this season, as many storylines are yet to unfold.

In what has been quite an eventful NFL offseason, we now see players both new, old and on totally different teams, suit up and show their coaches and fans exactly what they will be about in 2010.

So what parts of training camp should we be excited about?

There's a lot to cover, but this list should act as your own personal training camp guide.

50. Commissioner Roger Goodell To Visit 11 Camps in 10 Days

Goodell-favre_display_image

I don't know about you, but I always enjoy the NFL's annual visits of select training camps, as it usually involves a rather tired and worn out host, who attempts to cover some serious distance in an incredibly dismal amount of time.

This season, we get to see our very own Commissioner Roger Goodell visit 11 camps in 10 days, in what is sure to be a rather intriguing trip.

Goodell's itinerary includes stops in Green Bay, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Washington, Baltimore, and Indianapolis.

If you are lucky enough to see the trip on TV, take some notes, it should be worth it.

49. The Arrival of Mike Shanahan in Washington

Redskins-head-coach-mike-shanahan_display_image

One of the most exciting parts of this year's camps are the arrival of several new coaches. One of the main standouts this year is new Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan, who looks to make an impact early.

For Redskins fans, the excitement has been flowing all season. A new coach, a new quarterback and more importantly a new outlook on NFL football.

But don't expect Mike Shanahan to be as happy as he has been so far, when it comes to business, he packs a hard but satisfying punch.

48. The Arrival of Pete Carroll in Seattle

Carroll_display_image

Sticking with the coaches theme, we take a look at Pete Carroll, who now takes over the woeful Seattle Seahawks this season.

In Carroll's career, we have seen brief stints of him in the NFL. But unfortunately these past years aren't fondly remembered, and it is his dominant USC years that have the Seattle fanbase ready and eager for the season.

Like Mike Shanahan, don't expect Pete Carroll to be too laid back. Remember that he is a motivator, and when looking at the Seahawks, he has a workload like no other right now in the NFL.

Therefore, at training camps, expect to see some hard work displayed on and off the field, Seattle needs to get cracking on what could be a positive season.

47. Will Tim Tebow Have a Deal Anytime Soon?

Tim-tebow-and-the-denver-broncos-300x299_display_image

Tim Tebow did miss a scheduled team practice recently, but reports say he is edging closer to drawing on a deal with the Denver Broncos.

Prior to the NFL Draft, simply mentioning Tim Tebow's name captured everyone's attention.

At training camp, expect the very same, as an all our quarterback battle should be seen between Brady Quinn, Kyle Orton and himself.

As for his deal, it may come before training camp or after. We'll have to wait and see.

46. The New York Jets on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'

Darrelle-revis_display_image

Personally, I'm not to familiar with HBO's 'Hard Knocks' series, but I do hear good things.

This season, the New York Jets are the feature of the program, and it should be extremely interesting to see what Rex Ryan has planned for his highly impressive team this season.

More importantly though, getting an insight into the Jets defense should be a treat. New York is poised to have one of the top defensive schemes yet again in 2010, so an early glimpse will be appreciated by fans.

45. Sam Bradford's Mild Debut in St. Louis

Bradforddraft_display_image

Although the Rams training camp won't act as an official game for Sam Bradford, it will act as an indication toward just how well this young man will perform in 2010.

So far, we have seen Sam Bradford in action both during the NFL Combine, and during team practices with the Rams. It's fair to say that Bradford has been impressive, and we all know what to expect from him during training camp.

Still, a mammoth task awaits him this season, and he must remain sharp at all times. It's exciting, yet also nerve-wracking, as it could go either way.

44. The Panthers Quarterback Dilemma

Mattmoorepicforblog_display_image

Saying that the Panthers quarterback situation is a dilemma may be a bit of an overstatement, but they do have some concerns when it comes to who is standing behind center.

Right now, the Panthers options are simple: Matt Moore or Jimmy Clausen? So far the predicted starter is Moore, and rightfully so, but if failure does occur, well some action will be in need.

This year's training camp should paint the story of the Panthers quite clearly. If Matt Moore looks fine, great, but if he is inaccurate and a little under-confident, then things may go south fast.

Exciting? Maybe, but also a telling time for every Panthers fan.

43. Anquan Boldin in Baltimore

Dm_100305_nfl_schefter_boldin_display_image

Anquan Boldin's move to Baltimore has gone a little underrated as of late, but he should be on full display for the world to see come Ravens training camp.

Since Anquan Boldin was traded, things have looked up for both Joe Flacco and his offense.

Finally, the Ravens have a No. 1 wide receiver with a sticky set of hands and an incredible amount of talent.

Let's face it, Anquan Boldin probably won't fail at all in training camp, and therefore just watching him in a new uniform this season will prove to be exciting.

42. Injuries That May or May Not Occur

Lee_patriotsseahawks15_spts__1228743762_0073_display_image

As unexciting as injuries are in the NFL, unfortunately they are a part of training camp.

Whether it is a rolled ankle or a torn hamstring, it is likely that someone will hurt themselves one way or another in the coming weeks, and now it becomes a guessing game as to who does what.

In past years we've seen several players do minor to major damage. Who will go down this season? It may not be pretty, but we'll find out soon enough.

41. Michael Turner's Return to The Falcons

Michael_turner_2-copy1_display_image

Michael Turner is now near 100 percent healthy, and as a fan, I'm loving every minute of it.

Last season saw the Falcons take a fall from grace, as they were completely out muscled by the New Orleans Saints in the South. This year, expect a different story, as the Falcons are back to their old ways.

Training camp shouldn't prove to be a massive obstacle for Michael Turner, but it may test his recent injury.

At the end of the day, though, it's good to see this fantastic running back, and I know for one that I am excited to see him again.

40. Kevin Kolb vs. Michael Vick

91751148_display_image

Let's face it, the Eagles aren't the team they once were. They've lost Donovan McNabb, they've lost Brian Westbrook, and now they are faced with an inexperienced quarterback who is questionably talented.

But aside from what we already know, it is the quarterback battle in Philadelphia that should be the most interesting.

Michael Vick vs. Kevin Kolb should be a massive showdown, and Andy Reid will have his work cut out for him in containing these two guys.

Exciting? That would be an understatement, and the battle kicks off at Eagles training camp.

39. The Pressure on the Dallas Cowboys

Tony_romo_pictures4_display_image

As if the pressure wasn't on Dallas from the get go, now they have an entire nation watching to see if they can win the Super Bowl on home turf this season.

In the history of the NFL, this feat has never been achieved. Therefore it makes the Cowboys' 2010 season all that more special.

But can they get it done? That is the question we all want an answer for.

Dallas has had an impressive offseason so far, and have totally stayed out of the media. It is on the right track, and of course a winning year kicks off with a successful training camp.

38. Can Marvin Lewis Handle The Workload?

94976769_display_image

Even before the Bengals acquired Terrell Owens, the pressure was on head coach Marvin Lewis to drive the Bengals deep into the postseason.

Looking at Cincinnati on paper, they are a tremendous team. Great receivers, a decent running back, a stable quarterback and a defense that has improved consistently over a period of time.

But with two massive egos now on the team, some added pressure mounts on Lewis' shoulders. For non Bengal fans, this makes for an exciting watch.

For the Cincinnati faithful, though, some fingernails will be chewed in the training camp process in anticipation of what may unfold.

37. Will Pacman Jones Display Some Talent?

Amd_pacman_jones_display_image

Staying with the Bengals theme, now we look at Adam 'Pacman' Jones, who has been granted a get out of jail free card (in more ways than one) by the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason.

When it comes to speculation, the talk has been low. Many other storylines have unfolded, and grasped some of the light away from this story.

However, once the Bengals training camp fires up, expect all eyes to be on Pacman Jones, as he looks to become a defensive presence for Cincinnati.

Some of the spotlight will be shared with Terrell Owens, although when it comes to controversy and winning back his name, Pacman Jones proves to be exciting.

36. Julius Peppers Debut in Chicago

Julius_peppers_display_image

Since the Bears signed Julius Peppers from Carolina, things have looked up on the defensive side of the ball in Chicago.

When it comes to Julius Peppers, you pretty much know what your getting. A defensive presence capped off with a sheer will to win, and also knock a quarterback or two over in the process.

Training camp? Forget about it, it's a mere hurdle in Peppers' path this season.

Still, it will be exciting to see him lace up the boots in Chicago, and try and regain the impressive defensive name that the Bears once had.

35. Loner Larry Fitzgerald

Larry-fitzgerald-mcdonough_display_image

It's almost odd to think of Larry Fitzgerald without Anquan Boldin on the opposite side of the turf, but this is the reality we all face and we must adjust to it.

For Larry Fitzgerald though, he must adjust to a new quarterback, Matt Leinart, who looks to compliment Fitzgerald as well as Kurt Warner has done in past years.

For Fitzgerald, this may come as a bit of a worry. His stats may not be as high, and he may have a quiet year if Leinart fails to perform well.

Still, Fitzgerald will make those first adjustments in training camp this coming month, and it will be extremely interesting to see how the two hook up in the passing game.

This may be one of the more exciting storylines in training camps this season, so make sure you tune in.

34. Determining The Toughest Division

Green-bay_display_image

So far this offseason I think you'll agree we've seen a lot of debate about which division is the toughest in all of football.

The contenders right now are simple. The AFC North, the AFC East, the NFC North, the NFC East, and the NFC South.

Who takes home the medal? To me it is still the NFC East, given the talent and closeness between each team. But a case could be made for both the AFC and NFC North divisions.

Training camps may not tell us too much to further develop this story, but we will see the talent from each division on display clearly.

It's an underrated storyline in terms of excitement, yet it will capture some headlines in the future.

33. Jay Cutler and His Lack of Receivers

Jay-cutler-bears-20090822_zaf_cw1_012_display_image

Bears fans may argue differently, but Chicago has some serious issues in the wide receiver game.

For one, they lack a go-to guy. Two, Jay Cutler had a horrid year last season, and needs someone reliable to throw to.

Now, while I do recognize that Devin Hester can be OK at times, the need for someone greater still lurks.

Therefore, if you get the chance to see a Bears training camp session, take a mental note on how well Cutler throws to his receivers. Is there chemistry there? Or are they simply well-timed passes due to a lack of defensive pressure?

These questions will be answered, but a story should be told from training camp this offseason.

32. College Players Adjusting to the NFL System

Colt-mccoy_display_image

To me this is one of the most exciting parts of training camps, seeing the young rookies adjust to the pressure of the NFL.

So far just about every young rookie has adjusted quite well. Sam Bradford, Ndamukong Suh, Jahvid Best and others have all excelled for their respective teams, and are coping with the game adjustment.

Still, the true test will come on game day, when the players are faced with a speedy and hard hitting game.

However, training camps will give these young guys a taste of whats to come, and that in its own right should make for a good watch.

31. LaDainian Tomlinson vs. Shonn Greene

Dm_100118_nfl_shonn_greene_display_image

The Jets running game has now intensified due to the addition of LaDainian Tomlinson this offseason.

Gone are the days of the cozy starting spot for Shonn Greene, and he arrives in a time that sees L.T. breathing down his neck, eager to earn the No. 1 role.

In reality, we will most likely see both of these guys mixing and matching this season.

However, training camp will highlight if L.T. still has it in him, and if Shonn Greene has the juice to go all the way this season.

30. Can Tom Cable Keep His Hands To Himself?

Nfl_u_cable_412_display_image

If you'll recall, it was around this time last season that saw allegations break in regards to Tom Cable allegedly punching a fellow staff member.

Fortunately for Cable, nothing much became of these allegations, and funnily enough, Roger Goodell swept it all under the rug and gave the Raiders a royal pardon.

Still, there's something about Tom Cable that spells a repeat in the story. Maybe it's his appearance, or the frustrations that come with coaching the Raiders, but if things don't go to plan, maybe he will start swinging faster than Muhammad Ali.

Who knows, let's just hope whoever the victim is, he's wearing a mouthguard at the time.

29. Cincinnati's Wide Receiver Battle

Shipley2_display_image

Once again Cincinnati is featured on this list, but like other teams, it is taking part in an on-field battle this season.

Since the Bengals drafted both Jermaine Gresham and Jordan Shipley, you knew some serious competitiveness was going to fire up for a starting spot.

Now that Terrell Owens is on the team, well, it only adds more spice to the recipe.

Let's be honest, all of these guys are talented, and all are capable of satisfying Carson Palmer's receiver needs.

But at the end of the day, it will come down to who wants it more, and training camp should tell us just that.

28. Ndamukong Suh's Dominant Beginning?

Ndamukongsuh_000_display_image

If there's a favorite to win Rookie of the Year this season, Ndamukong Suh would surely be at the No. 1 spot.

Like Julius Peppers, you pretty much know what your getting with Suh. A strong-minded athlete who is an almost immovable object, and an obvious team-changer, is clearly why Detroit drafted him.

At training camp, perhaps it will mark the date that Ndamukong Suh's dominant career officially kicks off.

If he can pancake a few lineman, and rough the quarterback up a little, mark him down as impressive, it won't be anything new at all.

27. Albert Haynesworth: Happy as Larry or Down in the Dumps?

Albert-haynesworth-redskins_display_image

I honestly thought Albert Haynesworth would find a new team this offseason, but I, like most people, was very, very wrong.

So now the situation is easy, is Albert really happy in Washington? Or is it all just a bit cover up?

To me, Albert is happy to just be playing football. But Washington may still not be the happiest place for Albert Haynesworth right now.

When it comes to team organized activities, Albert hasn't been all that strong-willed this offseason in Washington. Therefore, some concern arises in regards to whether he'll show up.

If he does though, he may or may not put on a show, it all depends on his attitude.

Exciting? Barely.

Interesting? Definitely.

26. The Arrival of Chan Gailey in Buffalo

Alg_bills_chan_gailey_display_image

Has anyone seen or head from Chan Gailey? Because I don't really feel like I have.

If you looked for a quieter coach in all of football, I think you'd struggle to find one more silent than Chan Gailey.

But when it comes to the Bills, some serious action needs to be taken, immediately.

For you see, the Bills still do not have a starting quarterback, and Chan Gailey is facing a below-.500 team in some serious turmoil.

Still, his arrival will be eagerly anticipated, and to see him out on the practice field coaching will be a joy to Bills fans.

Watching an old guy coach a team may not be all that exciting (as God knows we've seen that before), but it will be intriguing, just to see Gailey's relationship with the players.

25. Jermichael Finley in Green Bay

Jermichael-finley-tom-zbikowski-2009-12-7-22-42-33_display_image

I think just about every Packer fan is wrapped that Green Bay have placed Jermichael Finley in the No. 1 tight end spot.

Not only is Finley a great talent, he is also a tremendous competitor, and a real target for young star quarterback Aaron Rodgers to take advantage of this season.

At Packer training camp, expect No. 88 to shine. He'll be willing to prove that he is still the same guy he was last season, and he'll be wanting to give everyone a taste of what is in store this season.

As a Jermichael Finley homer, I can't help but root for this guy all the way. He's exciting, and more than just a tight end. Let's all wish him the best in 2010.

24. Detroit's New Defensive Scheme

94078154_display_image

I've just mentioned Ndamukong Suh, but it's what Jim Schwartz has done with Detroit's defense that makes the Lions really exciting.

This offseason the Lions have brought in Kyle Vanden Bosch to play alongside Ndamukong Suh, and with Corey Williams on the opposite side, some figures should be posted in 2010.

To me this is very exciting, purely due to the fact that excitement from Detroit has been so hard to come by in recent years.

This is definitely a team you want to watch in the coming month, as they may just surprise everybody very quickly.

23. New Team Coordinators

Jim-haslett_display_image

The offseason hasn't only brought new players to new teams. It's also brought with it some new coordinators, who look to help their teams immensely in 2010.

Names of note are the Colts offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen and new Washington defensive coordinator Jim Haslett, who is in his element coaching defense.

For some teams such as Indianapolis, coordinators are meaningless, purely due to the Peyton Manning factor. While for others, they mean a new and welcome change.

Training camp we'll get to see these guys hard at work, and possibly shouting loudly. You may not know all their names, but they may make a difference for their respective teams.

22. Matt Leinart's Debut in Arizona

Matt-leinart_display_image

Larry Fitzgerald was mentioned earlier, but you knew Matt Leinart was coming sooner or later.

When it comes to Matt Leinart, we have seen glimpses. Now though, his time to shine has come, and he steps under center fresh, yet totally questionable.

The pressure is on like no other, and if he fails, well let's just say Arizona won't be looking at its best.

Training camps tell us many things, but none so important like determining if your quarterback is up to the task. It will be an exciting yet nervous watch as No. 7 takes the reins.

21. The Bills Transition to the 3-4

Buffalo2010_468x447_display_image

If it's anything the Bills need, it's change, especially on defense.

So far Buffalo are one of two teams converting to the 3-4 this offseason, and considering how well it worked for Green Bay last season, it may be a very wise move.

In today's football, the 3-4 seems to be the way to go, and there efforts will be on display during training camp.

Realistically deeming it a success won't come until the season is over, but we should see if they are at least up to the task of pulling the transition off.

20. The Redskins Transition to the 3-4

Washingtonredskinsvnewyorkgiants8ltxuvtrdvql_display_image

Here's the second team to convert to the 3-4, the Washington Redskins.

Like Buffalo, some change was needed, and head coach Mike Shanahan has gone with a new defensive scheme that looks to hold off the NFC East's potent passing attacks a little more this season.

Like Buffalo, labeling it a success won't come until season's end, but we'll learn a lot from the coming month or two.

19. The Delinquent Dez Bryant

Dezbryantcowboys_display_image

A lot was made of Dez Bryant's excuse to not carry Roy Williams' pads after a team practice this week.

Now though, that story has all blown over, and the focus shifts to football.

Dez Bryant is an obvious talent. He was a good pick for the Cowboys and the receiver that they have perhaps always wanted.

Still, the time for action has come, and training camp sets the stage for young Dez Bryant, and his explosive and quick ways.

Personally I'm not predicting any type of failure, as Bryant is the type of guy that should automatically excel.

It will be exciting though to see what we can expect in years to come from Bryant, and of course see his link up with Tony Romo.

18. Suspended Players

Ben-roethlisberger_display_image

For some fans this slide isn't exciting at all, as it means that they will miss out on the chance at seeing their favorite player/s for an extended period of time.

Still, the names worthy of mention here are of course Ben Roethlisberger and Brian Cushing, both of whom will miss the start of the season.

As for training camps though, this is their chance to prove they are still worthy and devoted to their team. It is also a chance to take their replacements under their wing, and give them a little guidance.

It may not be exciting for anyone, but at least you get to see them at training camp, right?

17. Alex Smith's New Offensive Protection

Alex-smith_display_image

Ever since the 49ers drafted Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati, San Francisco has been labeled as a potential playoff contender.

These are of course hopes, and until we see that protection is offered for often struggling quarterback Alex Smith, these draft picks will remain meaningless.

At 49er training camp, we'll see the entire offense on display, and should be able to make a judgment as to how their season will go. It's a very promising storyline, yet a worrying one as well.

If you're not a 49er fan, you can't help but love it. If you are a 49er fan, you may have an uneasy feeling, as a big season is ahead.

16. Will David Garrard's Offseason Work Pay Off?

1167138003_7815_display_image

Give David Garrard credit, he's a class act whose given it his all to get the Jacksonville Jaguars back on track this season.

For Jacksonville, some troubling times await. Head coach Jack Del Rio is edging on a make it or break it season, and the Jaguars talent is slowly dwindling down.

However, the Jaguars are still remaining positive, and David Garrard continues to pour sweat into this team each and every day.

Training camp may not be the prettiest site from the Jaguars, although it will tell us if David Garrard's work has paid off. For his sake, I hope it has, as he deserves to see something positive from his team this year.

15. The New York Jets New Player Additions

Santonio-holmes_display_image

LaDainian Tomlinson, Santonio Holmes and Antonio Cromartie are the Jets latest additions, and all look to have an impact in 2010.

Some analysts state that some of these players may act as a disadvantage for the Jets in 2010, while others can't help but like the signings.

To put an end to this debate, New York's training camp will paint a promising picture, as it should determine who is ready for a bigger and better moment in their career.

As we all know, Rex Ryan is a character, and he should have an exciting moment or two at training camps. As for the players, sit back and enjoy the show, the Jets' talent is a joy to watch.

14. Eric Mangini and Mike Holmgren's Turnaround in Cleveland

Large_eric-mangini529_display_image

Like David Garrard, credit Eric Mangini and Mike Holmgren, the turnaround they've performed in Cleveland is highly commendable.

Not only have the brought in Jake Delhomme, they also successfully drafted cornerback Joe Haden from Florida, who should be useful down the track.

For the Dawg Pound, things finally look up. The team may not be the most talented, and they still may struggle in 2010, but some real steps have been taken toward getting things back on the right track.

Therefore, the Browns training camp is there time to display all of their good work. Experts will be watching, and if the Browns perform well, then a good wrap will be felt in Cleveland.

It's exciting thinking about how far the Browns have come in such a short amount of time, and their training camp is our chance to see it all come together.

13. Is Andy Reid On a Hot Seat In Philadelphia?

Reid_display_image

With the new quarterback situation in The City of Brotherly Love, Andy Reid may find himself on the wrong end of a possible quarterback failure very time soon.

Personally, I wouldn't class Andy Reid in the same category as Josh McDaniels, as Reid has given the Eagles numerous winning seasons.

Still, if both Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick don't perform well, he may find the seat beneath him heating up very fast.

In past years the Eagles haven't had too many worries at training camps, as they've always been a stable team. Now though, the boat has been rocked, and things could go either way for the green and white.

12. Brett Favre?

Favre-vikings-ravensjpg-9ed52c30ab930218_large_display_image

Once again we reach that time in the offseason where we have no Brett Favre verdict, and like a serial killer in a horror movie, we know the verdict is coming sooner or later.

When that sooner or later happens though is one thing, but whether or not Favre turns up at training camp is another.

In Brett Favre's career, one of his criticisms can be that he doesn't act the team player during the offseason. He has missed training camps before, and I guess he feels like they are meaningless given his experience.

This season, he may or may not show up, no one knows. If he does though, it means he's playing, and that in itself is exciting.

11. Donovan McNabb's Debut in Washington

Washington_redskins_introduce_86ae_display_image

Donovan McNabb will be display for the entire NFL world at Redskins training camp, as he looks to turn over a new leaf in his long an illustrious Eagles career.

Right now though, his talent is the question, as some say he will fail completely in a Redskins uniform.

I guess for McNabb, the Redskins training camp is his chance to flip the bird to all the haters. He lacks a number one wide receiver, but he can make up for it with an impressive performance.

I think everyone is excited to see how McNabb does in Washington, so it goes without saying that this will be very interesting.

10. Jason Campbell's Debut in Oakland

Jason-campbell-raiders_display_image

We finally enter the top 10 now with Jason Campbell, who steps away from Washington and grabs the bull by the horns in an Oakland jersey.

If there was an award in the NFL for the most guts, it would go to Jason Campbell, as he has a huge task ahead of him this season with not only the Oakland Raiders, but Al Davis as well.

Can he do it? Is the question.

No one knows for sure, and perhaps after training camp we still won't know until Jason suits up and plays in Week One.

However, training camp should indicate his intent for the season, and his overall motivation.

9. Mark Sanchez Stepping Up to The Plate

Alg_jets_mark_sanchez_calls_display_image

Mark Sanchez had a fairly impressive rookie year with the Jets, and hopes to become a true team leader in New York this season.

For Sanchez, many say that the Jets carried him to the postseason, instead of Mark Sanchez carrying the Jets.

While I tend to agree to some extent, he was only a rookie, and the Jets didn't win the Super Bowl, so Sanchez has tasted victory, he can go after the big dance.

For the Jets as a team, training camp is very important. They are a great team, but do need to be on the same page, and not feel to overconfident.

They are an exciting team and so is Mark Sanchez, so tune into the New York if you get the chance.

8. Teams Needing a Running Game

290c1111-96fc-b3d0-514a-03b558274423-beta09_fb_reggiebush_1_display_image

If you haven't noticed, many NFL teams have chosen to focus on the passing game, rather than the running game this season.

San Diego, Green Bay and Houston all have promising young running backs.

This story is a very underrated one, and tends to forgotten a little. Now that attention has been brought to it, expect to see many teams focus on their run game at training camps this month.

A passing game is great, but can only go so far. A run game is needed for many teams to jump that final hurdle toward Super Bowl success.

7. The T.O Show

Terrell-owens_display_image

You knew T.O. was coming sooner or later, so here he is, the newest addition to the Cincinnati Bengals.

When news first broke two days ago that T.O. was a Bengal, I wasn't exactly astounded, but it was surprising. Not only will T.O. have to change his number, he will also have to share the spotlight with egotistical Chad Ochocinco, which should be interesting to say the least.

As for performance, the Bengals may or may not get the best out of T.O. To determine that, some serious focus will be on the controversial player in training camp, to see whether or not he is good for an 800-yard season or an above 1,000-yard season.

It's exciting when T.O signs with any new team, and this time it is no exception. Take some time out of your day to watch this one, you won't want to miss it.

6. Buffalo's Quarterback Competition

Trent_edwards_buffalo_bills_display_image

With no starter named in Buffalo, the competition heats up between each player.

Some fans prefer Trent Edwards, while others say that former Packer Brian Brohm could be a better option.

Whatever your opinion is, it will be an all out duel at Buffalo training camp to determine who is the worthy starter, and perhaps this is the right way to go about determining the leading man.

Exciting? Not even close, it will be an all-out battle not to be missed.

5. Will the Cowboys Remain Impressive?

96361270_display_image

Dallas' offseason has been notably impressive thus far. It has stayed out of the media, and quarterback Tony Romo finally appears to have his head firmly in the game.

This is great news for all Cowboys fans, as most of their previous offseasons have been caught up with the likes of Terrell Owens or Jessica Simpson.

No, this time is different and the Cowboys appear more focused than ever on the prize.

But will they remain impressive? Well, training camp is our chance to see what all the critics have been raving about, and pass our own judgments.

If they look good, then mark them down as Super Bowl favorites, Dallas have the potential this season.

4. Rookie Watch

Watching rookies slug it out in training camps is always enjoyable. This year sees a ton of talent, and a boatload of young guys ready to make a name for themselves.

The likes of Dez Bryant, Ndamukong Suh, Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Jahvid Best and others will be worthy of watching, and determining if they are truly prepared for the regular season.

Some may result in busts, while others will excel. This is what training camp is about!

3. Who Won't Show Up?

As mentioned earlier, each and every training camp there is a handful of players who choose not to show up.

Whether they stay at home, in a motel or just refuse to come in general, there will more than likely be a few names that take some time off.

So who will it be? You make the call. It's bound to be exciting.

2. Disgruntled and Unhappy Coaches

Like the players who perform a 'no show' each and every year there are those disgruntled coaches who are unhappy with their team.

It's always a guess who will be featured each and every year, and making a prediction is like winning the lottery. But if you look at teams on paper, you can normally figure it out.

Perhaps Brad Childress' leniency toward Brett Favre will come back to bite him, who knows. All I can say is I'd hate to be a stress ball on a coach's desk in the coming month.

1. The Arguments and Dilemmas

Just admit it, the arguments and dilemmas are what we live for as fans. We love them, we love the controversy and we love to see a player mouth off a little toward a coach.

In the past we've seen about everything. If it isn't Terrell Owens, it's Albert Haynesworth, or some other notable name.

So will T.O keep his mouth in check in Cincinnati? Or will he mouth off at Marvin Lewis early? Don't make a judgment now, as it will ruin the surprise.

Just look forward to a few arguments and curse words being thrown between players and coaches.
