Terrell Owens, Chad Ochocinco Dancing With the Cincinnati Bengals

Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco. Sounds appealing, doesn't it?

Well, Owens just signed a one-year, $2 million dollar contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, pairing the two most enigmatic receivers in the league on the same team.

If Marvin Lewis can control both of their egos, they are sure to flourish in Cincinnati. If he can't? It is a guaranteed disaster. 

T.O. and Ochocinco have a lot in common, though T.O.'s antics have impacted his career substantially more. 

They are best known for their competitiveness, touchdown celebrations, and always voicing their opinions, whether they were asked to or not. 

Both players have had their cases of insubordination. Both have tried to stage a coup.

Both these receivers love the limelight. Both have a VH1 reality show. But Ochocinco's show has outperformed T.O.'s show, and I expect the same to happen on the field.

I wonder what is going through the mind of Carson Palmer. 

I'm sure he is having dreams about the addition of a receiver as talented as Owens. At the same time, he wakes with night terror, remembering the dream that turned into a nightmare.

In Palmer's dream turned nightmare, he is stuck in the huddle while T.O and Ochocinco fight for his attention to relay their give me the damn ball speech. Palmer is unable to call the play and a delay of game penalty is issued.

He awakes looking at the scoreboard where it reads 2nd-and-goal from the 25-yard line, realizing it was their third straight delay of game penalty.

But that might not be a reality. My guess is that T.O has learned his lesson and that he realizes this is his last shot. After almost being blackballed despite still possessing talent to play, T.O is on his last run. 

Something tells me this will stay a dream for Palmer. But this is a volatile situation, and anything could set that nightmare in motion.

Either way, expect to see some of the best touchdown celebrations ever, as these talents try to top each other week in and week out.
