Im already sick of the LT crap, it happened its over and who really cares, was he coming back to play MLB for the Giants? That being said I just want a little feedback on some of the Giants units and I think the best place to start is with the DBs.

Corey Webster, Terrel Thomas, Aaron Ross, Antrel Rolle and Kenny Phillips are the projected starters even though Ross or Thomas will be the nickel.

Webster has all the tools, he regressed last year but I think that had more to do with the play of the front four and the safeties behiend him. CB depends on everyone else doing their part and the rest of the D hung this group out to dry.

Thomas a little small for my taste but solid, I would love to see what he can do with the other cogs of the d doing their part. I would really like to see him be stronger in run support, but all the playing time will make him that much stronger this year.

Ross I love Ross i think he is the truth and will break out this year and rise to be the number one CB on the team. Hurt all of last year with his hamstring and everything else falling apart. Love how he will come up in run support and atleast take a shot at the RBs legs with a dive. Maybe Im hoping.

Rolle lets just go with it he is a CB converted to safety and has performed well. He has good hands, hes a good in the open field. His contract is a product of supply and demand combined with inflation, not his fault who wouldnt take the money? I think he works out great.

KP, Let us hope and let us dream this kid is a stud waiting to happen that hasnt happened yet. The injury is real a missed year is real and bringing in Jones and Grant is a sign of what the Giants are preparing for. I think he could be the next paulamalu, a big hitter with good hands that strikes fear into the opposing teams RBs TEs WRs and QBs. Or he could not pan out its just a fact. I hope he lives up to his potential he could be great.

Well these are my surface thoughts of the Giants secondary as it shapes up right now. Im a Gman fan and feel like this could be one of if not the strongest groups on the team, but the front four need to do their part for it to happen. The secondary needs to by the D line time and the D line needs to make sure they get to the QB fast so the DBs dont cover forever.

What does everyone think would love to hear everyones thoughts on the secondary.
