NFL Draft: Top 100 Players Still Available on Day Two
With Day One of the draft in the books, some glaring and surprising names are still left on our board.
Guys like Jimmy Clausen (ninth on our board), Charles Brown and Bruce Campbell (17th and 18th, respectively, on our board), Taylor Mays (37th), and Colt McCoy (121st) are a few of the names that very few expected to still be here after 32 picks.
We'll take a look at our updated "Best Player's Available" board according to Optimum Scouting's Rankings.
1. Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Definite surprise he's still around, he shouldn't last much longer.
2. Charles Brown, OT, USC
One of the most athletic tackles in this class, left tackle possibles in round two won't last.
3. Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
An athletic freak, Campbell's raw potential seems worth the risk in round two.
4. Navarro Bowman, OLB, Penn State
Likely won't go early in round two, I still feel he's the best OLB in this draft.
5. Perrish Cox, CB, Oklahoma State
Great cover two cornerback, he could go either middle of round two or even slip out of Day Two.
6. Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas
Surprised he's still available, he's the most pro-ready 3-4 OLB in this class.
7. Brandon Spikes, ILB , Florida
Fell because of poor workouts, a team late in round two or in round three could get a major steal.
8. Dan LeFevour, QB, Central Michigan
A favorite of mine, LeFevour could wind up being one of the best QBs in this draft.
9. Carlos Dunlap, DE/OLB, Florida
A little lacking in strength in the lower body, Dunlap's fall isn't a surprise to me.
10. Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama
Arguably the best 3-4 NT in this class, Cody's durability and stamina pushed him out of round one.
11. Eric Norwood, OLB, South Carolina
A great pass rushing OLB, teams that missed on Weatherspoon may reach for Norwood.
12. Corey Wooten, DE, Northwestern
A very complete defensive end, he can play in botha 3-4 and 4-3 at end.
13. Taylor Mays, S, USC
An outstanding athlete, Mays is worth the risk early in round two.
14. Arthur Jones, DT, Syracuse
Higher on my board than most, Jones is still one of the better defensive tackles and a versatile prospect.
15. Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
One of the best receiver's still on the board, a team looking for a speedy threat could take him in the Top 40.
16. Nate Allen, S, South Florida
Ultra-instinctive playmaker at safety, a team like Tampa Bay could target him early.
17. Everson Griffin, DE, USC
A raw athlete, a team could fall in love with his potential and take a risk early.
18. Jeff Owens, DT, Georgia
One of the more complete nose tackles in this draft, a team like Minnesota could be an option.
19. Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
Still one of my favorite running backs in this class, the Texans and Packers look like good fits.
20. Brian Price, DT, UCLA
Many like him more than I do, he was inconsistent in college and looks like a great talent without the heart.
Also:

22. Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan
23. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Arizona
24. Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan
