2010 NFL Draft: Sam Bradford Being Pursued by Cleveland Browns: 2010 NFL Draft
If the reports are true, Sam Bradford could be a Cleveland Brown with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft at 7:30 tonight.
Michael David Smith from Profootballtalk, a branch of NBC Sports, is reporting that Mike Holmgren is making one last offer to the St. Louis Rams to acquire the No. 1 pick in tonight's 2010 NFL Draft.
Smith has quoted Holmgren as saying that he is enamored with Bradford enough to offer a good majority of his picks in this draft to acquire Sam Bradford.

If the Browns pull the trigger on the trade to bring in the former Oklahoma Sooner standout, it would not only compromise all of their picks in this deep draft, but it would put Jake Delhomme on rookie replacement alert.
This trade, in my opinion, would be a huge blow to the Cleveland Browns organization, and could potentially set the team back even further than they were before Mike Holmgren came to town.
Sam Bradford seems like a system quarterback that will not be able to brave the tough winters and winds of Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Furthermore, would he be able to withstand the punishment delivered by the stout defenses in the AFC North?Ā
I think not.
To quote the fans of the Chicago Black Sox: Say it ain't so Mike.......Say it ain't So.
