Bengals Offense
The Bengals found a way to win football games with Cedric Benson running and Carson Palmer hooking up with Chad Ochocinco. While it was nice to see the Bengals perform well, it’s going to take more than Ochocinco in the passing game to win the division again.
Both the Ravens and Steelers had somewhat down seasons in 2009, and I don’t expect that to happen this year. If the Bengals are going to win double-digit games, new addition Antonio Bryant and others need to step up.
Hopefully, Palmer is ready to return to his old form this season after some questions with his health late in the '09 season.
Continuing to Mature
I have no doubts that the Bengals' linebacking corps will continue to mature in 2010. They are loaded with talent in that area, and their defensive line is underrated.
My only concern is that I’m not sure the secondary can repeat its strong play from a year ago. If Leon Hall and Johnathan Joseph can play like they did a year ago, it will greatly help this team's odds of finding the playoffs.
