Packers GM for a Day: Round 1...Who Would You Take?

With the draft a little more than a week away, I want to get a feeling for what Packer fans are looking for in this upcoming draft. So, over the next week I will list players who might be available to the Packers when they pick in a particular round. Readers can vote for who they would pick, and after two days whoever gets the most votes will be the Packers pick that round as chosen by the Packer fans here at Bleacher Report.

On Friday I will have the players available for round two.

Round 1

Your choices for the 23rd pick are...

Taylor Mays, Safety, USC - A hard hitting safety with great speed, but questionable ball skills.

Charles Brown, Tackle, USC - Most likely the best tackle available when the Packers pick at 23. Would probably be a good fit for the Packers zone blocking scheme.

Jerry Hughes, OLB, TCU - One of the better pass rushers in the draft, but he played DE in college, so there would be a learning curve if he was asked to play OLB.

Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas - Might be more of a natural OLB than Hughes, but not as skilled as pass rusher.

Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers - Could be the best corner available when the Packers pick. He also can handle kick returns.

Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State - Probably the second-best corner in the draft, his height may be an issue for Ted Thompson.

Jahvid Best, RB, California - A small but explosive running back who would be a nice change of pace back, and who could handle return duties.

So Packer fans, who would you take with the 23rd pick?
Round 2 on Friday.
