Daily Market Trends: Six Afternoon Games, Interleague Match Up Highlight Day
Moving Today's Market
There was a lot of early action today with six afternoon games on the schedule. All six games received over 10,000 bets, with 17,658 bets for the Colorado-Milwaukee game leading the way. For tonight’s games one All-Star, as well as two should-be All-Stars, take the mound. It’s no surprise that the interleague makeup game between the Yankees and Pirates is drawing the most interest out of the remaining games. All-Star snub Mike Mussina (11-6, 3.64 ERA) takes the mound for New York against Pittsburghlefty Paul Maholm (5-5, 4.05). The Angels’ John Lackey (6-2, 1.93), also missing from the mid-summer classic, takes the bump in Texasagainst the Rangers’ Scott Feldman (3-3, 4.39) in another game drawing early interest. All-Star Dan Haren (8-5, 2.83) makes his final start before the break as the D-Backs play in Washington.
